My husband and I have been here twice and we were very happy with our meals on both occasions. Super friendly and attentive... service; There were not any issues around being short-staffed when we visited. Family-friendly, as we took our 2 kiddos oneevening and had a great experience. The atmosphere (aesthetically/decoratively) leaves a bit to be desired, but otherwise agreat dining option in downtown Clayton. Read more

A small family-operated establishment since 2019 in the heart of Clayton NC. Now Clayton is not that big of a town and for some... reason I had never stumbled into the doors of this fine little establishment until now. They are a friendly and personable bunchwho wastes no time in getting you comfortably settled in. So many Italian entrees, yet so little time. The menu offers many ofmy favorites, but when faced with an assortment of pasta entrees, I always start with the lasagna. Clearly a good choice, theyserve a wonderful house made lasagna, when you can taste the layers, you know you're in the right place. Sit back with a bottleof wine, they have plenty and enjoy what Nina's has to offer. Cheers!. Read more

Came from out of town for a funeral and found this awesome restaurant as second choice to a local steak place that was closed on... Mondays near Nina's. We are glad we stopped in...three nights in a row! We were greeted like family by an awesome Server namedJennifer. She explained the menu, gave some recommendations and off she went. We had Steak, spaghetti (a free salad on Monday.heck yeah) and vegetables with potatoes on the side. The steak will never be confused for A5 Kobe Ribcap but it was great forthe price point! The Italian dishes were amazing and the cheese cake was as good as any I have eaten anywhere... and I haveeaten cheese cake everywhere. The menu prices are reasonable and if you want to be treated like family and not a customer thenthis is the place you want to go. We appreciated the hospitality from the staff there and especially Jennifer. She could give aclass on how to treat patrons and we will be back the next time we are in the Carolina area. Thanks for a great week! Read more

First time trying Nina's, but we will be back. Our Waitress Theresa was great! Was on top of everything she needed to be. Food... was reasonably priced as well everything we ordered had great flavor. My husband had Steak Sinatra, was cooked perfectly and ithad great taste. I had chicken marsala and it was really good. We shared the mussels and huge portions with great flavor. I didget a chocolate cake for dessert but was to full to eat it, so I brought it home. Looks delicious, but I am still to full to eatit. Look forward to our next trip to Nina's. Nice clean atmosphere as well! Read more

As a realtor I eat on the road with clients frequently. What a treat it was to bring my client here. Yummy muscles in herbed... white wine sauce is one of my favs & Nina?s in Downtown Clayton is a treat in Johnston County. They offer live music during theevening- check their Facebook or website for times & musicians. Full bar and good food make this a great way to spend lunch or afun dinner date. Read more

Well meatballs were homemade but tasted a bit more like frozen prepared rubber balls. Bruschetta toast for $ 8.99 was ok but way... overpriced for 4 tiny pieces of toast. No music or sound on tv. Was boring. Dont think ill return Read more

Located in downtown Clayton this place is clean and the staff are some of the best we?ve ever found. It has an upscale classy... atmosphere and prices to match. They all were extremely helpful and nice. That being said, my wife?s Nina classic burger wouldhave been perfect had the meat not been so dry and fry?s tasted hard maybe undercooked My chicken parmigiana was kinda tough andleathery. Cheese sticks were good. Not made of that cheap chewy mozzarella some places use. I was hoping to try their meatloafbut was told the online menu is outdated and not available anymore. Our drinks were delicious. The restrooms were not terriblebut not as nice as you would expect from a nice place like this. While I was using the facilities, A very young female staffmember came in to inspect the room and empty the trash. An awkward moment I didn?t share with my southern redhead wife until wewere long gone lol. Luckily I was only washing my hands at that point. Overall the place is very nice and we will probably tryit again sometime. But wouldn?t make a special trip. Dinner for two was $55 Read more
