The best Mexican food I've found in the southeast. Their tableside guacamole is fantastic, their salsa is phenomenal, and their... molcajete dish is one of the best things I've ever eaten. Their margaritas are also delicious, and they have many flavoroptions. There's plenty of seating, including outdoors. We eat here often and are never disappointed. I can't recommend Festejosenough! We went here for the first--and last--time last week. Guacamole was delicious, but I had to ask for additional lime and salt to... add flavor. Then I got my meal--disgusting. I couldn't figure out what the problem was and found it was the red sauce. I toldthe waiter the sauce was bad and very bitter. He went back and got a small bowl for me to try--extremely bitter. He did nottaste it but brought it back to the kitchen and told the cooks (I hesitate to use the word chef). He came back and said they"forgot" to add sugar. Are you kidding me? The sauce is bad so add a little sugar? I left almost everything on the plate. Hetook 10% off our check. Really? You can keep your guacamole and your bad sauce!! Oh, I failed to mention that the tables couldhave used a good cleaning. I think I can do without Mexican food, if this is what I get. No thank you. Read more

I'm not sure what has happened to this place over the last few months but it went from being our favorite "go-to" to NEVER... again! I gave the benefit of the doubt after my last order was wrong so we ordered again today and it's like they don't evenread the customer's comments/preferences any more. The food took way longer than expected (though there were only two customersin the restaurant), the corn tortillas were not even warm (like they just pulled them out of a package), they included sides Ispecifically asked them not to (sour cream, pico, lettuce, etc.), the lettuce looked like it had seen better days and when Iasked for a side of house hot sauce (not salsa), I was told they don't make hot sauce any more! WHAT Mexican restaurant doesn'tmake hot sauce?!? Super disappointed! Read more
