what an unexpected restaurant in clayton - exceptional service and dishes! the restaurant is along the highway so it is easy to... find. big parking area. wide indoor and outdoor sitting. clean and cozy. the food is very tasty, so delicious! i love my clamlenguine. the garlic rolls are a winner! very generous serving size - a plate's good for 2 people. the staff are very friendly,we love everyone of them. If you think this is the best italian, you could not possibly have been many places. I've had my fair share of mom and pop... italian joints. This one isn't the best. The proportion sizes are smaller than most. The don't give a free basket ofbread. The lasagna was SUPER GREASY! Like grease soup. See my pics. The noodle edges were like crackers. Thin and crisp. Hadstomach issues afterwards from all the grease. My daughter's tortellini was good though, just kind of bland. The bread wasokay. Not the best I've had and what came with the meal was hard and different than the basket appetizer. Service wasn't thebest either. Read more
The service could be better. We waited over 10 min to get service and we asked for a large pizza and we got a small pizza. And... it was not busy that day. But the food is very very good! The garlic rolls were fantastic! We had a House Special Pizza. Read more

Wow this place is really impressive. Loved the pizza, super high quality toppings and a nice blend of chewy and crunchy crust. ... We also tried the spinach ravioli which contained a great spinach and cheese blend smothered in a rich meat sauce (you get achoice in most pastas of marinara, meat sauce, or Alfredo). Salads and pastas come with divine garlic rolls. Will absolutelybe going back! Service was also fantastic. Full bar, we had the sangria, which was decent, packed a punch for sure. I cannot believe the kitchen sent a pizza to my table that had 2 pieces with no toppings on it. A BBQ pizza. 2 of the 6 pieces... had little to no toppings. The waiter asked if I wanted him to do anything, but I did not have timetowaitfor a new pizza so Iate it. The4 slices with toppings were great. Read more
