Great food! Had the pulled chicken sandwich and the chicken was moist and wasn't dried out like some pulled chicken tends to do.... Sooo good. Pulled chicken was soo juicy and full of flavor. Dang good sauce selection, my favorite is Smoky Mountain. The juicy... beef brisket sandwich in a smoky Memphis Belle sauce satisfies all cravings. We basically ordered everything they make in ourfirst visit. Turkey and aks for the Alambaa White sauce. Baby Back Ribs and rockin. Mac n cheese is a 10! Corn Casserole isbussing. Cole slaw is slammin and the fries are double fried yum. Cherry cheesecake dessert and brownie, house made sweet tea.???? This was some really great foods. Ribs were fantastic and pulled pork was excellent. Sides in order of goodness ????Mac/cheese,... green beans, potato salad, slaw. Food was ready quickly and hot. Well staffed and clean including the restrooms. Plenty ofparking and outside seating too! Read more
Today we visited Mission BBQ for the first time. The food was great. On top of the food, Lisa came around and asked us if it was... our first time. She welcomed us and offered a sample of any of the food. We declined but she insisted we try the dessert. Wethought we would get samples but she brought out 4 full sized desserts and two brownies for the kids. Truly a great experienceoverall and the service was top notch. We would highly recommend! Ate here today with my daughter. Unfortunately I wasn?t that impressed. The pork was great except it had a lot of gristles in... it. The green beans were a little spicy but still good. The baked beans were nasty. The girl that took our order (Bri) was verysweet and friendly. The environment was great. I thought the price was a little high. It was 19 for one meal and a kids meal. I am a visitor to this area and made my very first visit to this BBQ place. The people were friendly, the menu is simple... (totally adequate) and Totally bbq. If you can?t find something delicious to eat you aren?t looking! The atmosphere isdefinitely southern and the respect and homage to their service men and women and veterans is literally - written on the walls.Our meal was really delicious and I tried a few things I?ve never eaten before including sweet potato pie YUMMY! Great service! The brisket was so flavorful, it practically melts in your mouth. French fries were fresh and hot the baked beans... with brisket were average. The Military and First Responder memorabilia that decorate the walls is fun to take in. The hangingAmerican Flag is awesome. The vacant Veteran table is a wonderful tribute. Read more
Very hard review to write. First of their "mission" is definitely 5 stars coming from a firefighter myself. Arriving in the... establishment we were quickly greated and had the menu explained to us. We ordered out food and grabbed a table and the waitressexplained the mission from what they were built off of. Food came out and was presented great with a selection of sauces. We hadbrisket, ribs, sausage, beans, mac n cheese and apple cobbler. Now onto the food itself wife raved about the Mac n Cheese, theribs were quite bland, the brisket was extremely dry (see photo), the beans were pretty good, the apple cobbler was very doughy,and I loved the sausage. The sauces where all unique in their own way but we are not normally sauce people with our BBQ. Overallnot the greatest BBQ and ranks about average with anyone else.
