I have been a long time fan of Miss Lucille?s café, but I have rarely strayed from the picky, Eunice salad, as it always calls... to me. I decided to change it up and asked what the most popular sandwich was to which the cashier responded the chicken saladsandwich. Oh my goodness it was absolutely amazing. I have no regrets! The service was prompt even though you could see theplace was really busy. I always enjoy the vibe, and everyone is super friendly. The Reuben is fabulous! If you?re not sure what to get, get this! I?ve been coming here for years and it?s my favorite. I... substitute the side of chips for the soup of the day (this was tomato basil), it?s an upcharge but totally worth it. The cafeis inside a giant antique store connected to a coffee shop, so it?s a great place to spend an hour or two. Read more
When this cafe first opened I was not too interested in going there. A friend of mine asked me if I wanted to go so I thought... I'd give it another try. Well I am so glad I did!! It had been a few years since I had been there and the changes on the menuthat have been made is great!! I had the South of the Border bowl and it was so so good and a large amount of food for thedollar! Then I went to lunch with another friend today and she had never been so we went and we loved the Yummy yummy bowl andthe unique lemonade drinks, well they are delicious and surprising and different. This salad was so good! It was the Picky Eunice or something. The southwest steak and potato soup wasn't great. I thought it... was gonna be a creamy soup. But if you don't mind that it's more like a stew and has a bit of kick, you might like it. It's acute place, and everyone was nice. They were open on MLK Day, and the line stayed pretty long from around noon to 1. But theywere still pretty fast. It's such a nice place to look around at all the cute booths. Our first time at Miss Lucille's and we were not disappointed! We ordered the Reuben and Cuban panini. I love that the... sauerkraut was between the corned beef and didn't make the bread mushy. Will definitely be back! Read more
We?ve lived near this place for just over a year and we finally stopped in to try it out and we were not disappointed. My hubby... got the brisket sliders and I got the poppin grilled cheese, which I can?t seem to find online. Both were delicious but thegrilled cheese was out of this world. It had 3 different cheeses, one of which was cream cheese, with jalapeños, avocado, andbacon. Both orders came with chips.
