It's great to have a place in Clarksville that has both well-prepared sushi AND an enjoyable hibachi experience. The chef was... very accommodating and entertaining to watch, and the food was terrific (especially the scallops and cabbage mix). I dont knowif it's commonly this way, but it was very cold in the hibachi side of the restaurant (the only reason for the "4 stars"atmosphere), so have long sleeves or a cover up if you're cold natured. Overall, we had a completely satisfying experience. Read more

Go at opening time, especially weekday and won?t have to wait long, otherwise call at least a day in advance to make... reservation. Shrimp dinner is my favorite and the white sauce is AMAZING!!!???? Upgrade your steak-you won?t regret it! Melts inyour mouth medium rare????Chefs and servers have always been great. Love this food! Read more

If you wanna spend 45$ on something that wouldn?t even fill a child,, come to this place! Food portions are way small, your... appetizers are like sides. The rice no matter if you get it steamed or fried just taste terrible. Owners don?t care about yourcomplaints even tho your spend 100+ dollars there. Also I thought it would smell nice walking in, not like the back of a garbagetruck. Read more

Hananoki is one of the best hibachi establishments in the country. They have consistently been my favorite for more than a... decade now I believe. The staff is friendly and the chefs work very hard to master their craft. If it wasn't so expensive Iwould literally eat there every day. Best food in my opinion. It's perfect. Read more

We used to come here for every special occasion like birthdays, but the service just isn?t where it needs to be anymore. We went... there Friday night, was told there would be a 25 minute wait for our party. Ending up waiting an hour and a half before beingseated, and then at least another 30 minutes before our chef was there. It?s normal to be seated and to wait on the chef, butthey usually give you your soup/salad during that time frame. Didn?t happen for us. Waitress forgot our soup/salad, and wedidn?t get it until the chef was about finished cooking. Food tasted great like always, and the chef was funny. Everything elseregarding the service was inadequate though. Didn?t receive a beverage refill the entire night. Then we got the bills and theycharged us an 18% gratuity because our party was larger than six. I saw the sign about that while we were waiting, but I wasshocked that they charged that gratuity after going through all the issues we had. On a side note, prices have increasedsignificantly, but that?s inflation, so you really can?t fault them for that. Read more

I?ve eaten at many Asian restaurants before. & this place is a rip off , for the chicken with steak rice, it is a rip off! $21... for some overly cooked side vegetables that I was able to count with my fingers & their stem rice is not even up to par and thetexture was as if it was not cooked fully. Go to Fujiyama which is about 10-15 mins away & you will get more Way More for LessMoney. I don?t even know why my husband went there. As for the A?s for the California roll it was okay & the Dragon roll wasokay, not even all that. I?ve tasted way better. & the calamari okay but not even crispy. So disappointing. Read more
