Great spot for a yummy treat. Get a treat and go watch the river critter and activities while leisurely enjoying your ice... cream. Very tasty ice cream, some fun combinations on the menu, and very pleasant staff. They are serving from a little shackon the side of the house now. Don't forget to visit Tank the pet tortoise in the warmer weather. He's a cool mascot! Thehours are very sporadic, apparently because of labor issues, but they do seem to update on their Facebook page with the info toprevent people stopping by during unplanned closure. Read more

Such a fun and cute ice cream shop! My first time going there, their building was under construction, but they were still taking... orders outside. I?m excited to see how it all turns out! I ordered a scoop of cookies n? cream and strawberry cheesecake (Icouldn?t choose between the two?) and both were delicious! They have a great location right by the river, so we got to hangoutfor a bit at a table nearby. My husband ordered a specialty shake that he LOVED! It had peanut butter, banana, and chocolate.Our friends ordered the Superman ice cream and a strawberry cheesecake shake. The ice creams are alright. I am willing to give it a solid 3/5 for the ice cream. But the most interesting thing about this... place is the view of Louisville from the Jeffersonville. After ordering the ice cream, enjoying the view gives you a nicefeeling. Read more

I don't like giving such low ranking for a local ice cream shop - and I know this post won't keep people from stopping in, but -... this had to be the most uninteresting, and least flavorful ice cream I've ever had. We had 3 different flavors - orange sherbet,raspberry sherbet and cookies & cream - they were all just...bland. There's no other way to say it! They have a great spot -directly across the street from a Riverview walk, so people will always go there, but be forewarned - the ice cream we had wassimply bland. I hope they work on their flavors to give them a little more taste - this is the kind of place you WANT to stay inbusiness, but NOT with flavorless/average ice cream! Read more

5 stars for the building and the view. The house is amazing and it?s a great place to sit and watch the river with a great view... of Louisville. 3 stars for the ice cream. The strawberry Sunday used gelatinous strawberry goo instead of real strawberries andthey were a bit too stingy with the nuts. This is our favorite ice cream place... it's a pretty yellow cottage across the Ohio River on the Jeffersonville side. We... visit here quite often... specially while are friends are in town!! And our dogs love their complimentary vanilla. I am ahuge chocolate lover, so Atlantic city and Angel's delight are my favorite!! It's been 2.5 years We moved to this beautiful town, and each time we come to river, we stop here for some sundaes and if you're are ice cream lover, you should too!! Read more
