I wanted steak for my birthday and decided to go to Cattleman?s. Due to a suicidal squirrel their electric was out and decided... to give this place a shot. When looking at the menu I was surprised by the prices. I made the assumption that it must be reallygood to justify those prices. Boy was I wrong. The salad was drenched in some kind of Big Mac dressing that was more like a soupthan a dressing. The soup was just broth. The big let down was the main dish tho. Served with enough rice for 3 people it wasextremely underwhelming. The 4 bites of vegetables were pretty good but my ?New York strip steak? was cut into 5 small piecesand almost well done when I asked for medium rare. I was expecting a whole steak cooked on a flame, not a flat top. My guess isthat it was no more than 1/4 of a steak. I wish I had gotten sushi instead. I?m not sure why they have steak house in their nameas that is definitely not their specialty. I spent $80 for 2 meals that were 90% rice. It was twice as much as Cattleman?s butnot even 1/2 as good. The place was clean and the wait staff were exceptional. Read more

Kansai is by far the best hibachi grill I've ever been to. The restaurant is very spacious so you don't feel crammed next to... other guests. The menu is very diverse and offers something for everyone, prices are pretty average for a hibachi grill, eachperson will spend 20-30 dollars for a meal. The portions are huge so you definitely get plenty to eat! The fried rice is thebest I've ever had. It absorbs the grill flavors so perfectly and it's cooked to perfection. Highly recommend this restaurant ifyou find yourself in the area! Read more

I?ve loved this place for years. BUT, I won?t be back for a while. Went there for lunch. Prices have just gotten crazy. I paid... more for the same lunch meal today, than I did a year ago for dinner. I understand inflation, but it shouldn?t be a 70%increase. They offered sauce (like they always have), and brought us little containers of yum yum sauce. They failed to mentionthat this is now an additional charge. We also waited 30+ minutes at the hibachi ?just in case someone else comes??our wholeparty was already there. And bathroom floors are so sticky, it pulled my friend?s sandal off her foot. It was gross. Theexperience has declined, while the price has drastically increased. Read more
