What a find! We were looking for a place open a bit later than we usually eat. We walked into this very unassuming place on a... rainy Saturday night and were not sure what to expect. Such great food and the prices were much lower than expected--lots ofleftovers, too, as the portions were huge. We've eaten Ethiopian food frequently over the years, and this was the best. Thespices were not necessarily "more," but they were "more there," by which I mean they seemed to be richer and more prevalent thanother places we've eaten. Hubby had the kitfo. When the server placed it on the table, she asked he wanted it "more cookedbecause some people don't like it raw." He demurred, of course, and said it was excellent. I had the beef tibs platter, whichgave me lunch for 2 days. The presentation was gorgeous--when I said so, the server looked at me like I was stating the obvious. Our friend had chicken tibs, which he said was delicious. I also liked the fact that the beer was reasonably priced. Sometimeswhen the food is well-priced as it is at Ledet, they get you on the beverages. $5 for a bottle of good beer is quite reasonablethese days. Lastly, I saw some folks complaining about the service. We thought our server was lovely and polite. We willdefinitely be back! Read more

I?ve been to Ledet several times but mainly because the food is delicious but I?ll never go back again. Yes the food is always... good but service is absolutely and consistently horrible, the cleanliness of the whole place is very questionable. Last time Iwaited for an hour and half to get my food yet other tables that came after us got served. Read more

The food is great. But inconsistent sometimes it very hot and sometimes it?s just right. I ordered from here regularly on food... app i.e door dash/ Uber eats. Enough where the meals I always order became a combo! I recently moved from Stone Mountain to cityof Atlanta. So I don?t get it eat as much unless visiting family. But recently order the 2 ledet combo an lega tibs. Which cameto about 75.00 which is fine because ledet combo price went up. And when the food is made right. It?s worth it. Which is hit ormiss but good enough for me to keep going back. But my issue is that it?s now cheaper to order online with tip on door dash thento call in. It doesn?t make sense. Fyi Read more
