Place is amazing? but I must say. Coming from the son of smugglers cove bar and grill, I would say this place is better overall
Nice atmosphere, Very friendly Bartender/ Waitress. We had our dinner in the Bar the section. Great food and drinks.
Love Don Cherry's in Clarenville. It's our weekly go to when shopping. The staff is the best. Always smiling and always... remember our drink and meal choices. Basic bar food, wings and premade meals. Had a cheese steak sandwich with salad which was fine, nothing great but fine. I don't... like restaurants that use plastic glasses, way too cheap feeling. Ordered a spinach dip appetizer but never came. They were abit busy and as staffing is a challenge for most places the service was not an issue. Read more
Depends on what you order. Potatoe skins are great, so was the bacon, mushroom, Swiss burger and fries. However, simple nachos... were terrible.Very very little toppings and the nachos chips were soggy not crisp! We complained about this texture and was toldit was because of the toppings!?!? First, there were not enough toppings to share the blame..second, I've had this platterhundreds of times before at other places, with more toppings, and never it this bad! I was so excited to hear they have a dedicated fryer and a really good portion of their menu is gluten free. I had spinach dip... and actual deep fried chicken wings for the first time in 3 years. They also have poutine, nachos, potato skins, and other yummythings. Can't wait to go back. Read more
Decent place with good menu, inexpensive and large quantities..
Really, I'd like to give it a 4.5 Nice little spot. Service was quick and friendly. Most of the food that came out was... excellent. A few items were a little over cooked and the portions a touch small. Steaks were nice quality and well cooked. Vegwas nicely seasoned. As someone from away, it was cool to see local foods on the menu. Not stuff you see at all DonCherry's Parking outside is a little different. Lot could use a make over. Read more
