The service was excellent and the waitress was very honest in answering our questions about the food as this was our first time... there. It's a great little country restaurant that kind of takes you back in time. Would definitely recommend yiu give them atry as we will be going back as well. Read more

Very friendly staff, food is always fresh and hot. Very rare that our meal doesn't come quickly. I'm a repeat customer and... I've never left unhappy. Read more

Amazing Country Fried Steak, truly great and yes, a portion the size of a plate. Identical to the best Beef Schnitzel I have had... in Austrian fine dining restaurants Read more

I wish we had discovered this little hidden gem a long time ago! This Granny's Country Kitchen is good ol' southern home... cooking, and just looking at the menu, I could tell we would love this place! ("Macaroni is a vegetable" and "We serve breakfastall day" were just 2 selling points...) And some people might be off-put because it seems to be "sharing" it's quarters with thegas station next door, but it's simply a set of double doors that lead into it. (Just another entrance, is all!) Everyone wassuper friendly, the restaurant was very clean, and the food was really good. My only complaint would be the rolls... Theyweren't soft at all, so we just didn't eat them. My boyfriend and I both had hamburger steaks, with mac 'n' cheese and friedokra. The steaks were juicy and cooked perfectly, as were the grilled mushrooms, onions, and peppers that were added to mine. The okra was pretty good, except I had an end piece with stalk still on it, which leads me to believe it could be bagged frozenokra, but still good despite that. Needless to say, we'll be returning, especially to check out the breakfast! Read more

Faaaaantastic. That country fried steak really was "as big as your head"! Kiddos loved their pancakes, biscuits and gravy, and... hashbrowns, grits, and eggs! Read more

First timer here and it will not be my last. The food was amazing and it came out in no time (but also was there at 8 something... in the morning). I had the Old Timer breakfast with livermush, scrambled eggs, hashbrowns, fruit and toast. Ate everything buthalf the toast (only because I got too full). My husband got Grandpa's Breakfast and the 11 oz country fried steak (pictured),**was big enough for at least 3 people to eat**. He also got eggs over medium, hashbrowns and biscuit & gravy. He brought homeleftovers since he could not finish it all. Will def be back and looking forward to trying their lunch/dinner. Read more
