Reviews for La Terraza Cafe in City Terrace, CA
Great little hidden gem with a decent menu. Quiet inside and cool vibe. Due to their location, it's easy to miss.
Friendly service but the French toast we got was extremely soggy. They had just made it. We also waited about 20-25 minutes with... nobody in the cafe on a Wednesday Morning. Some guy came in after and it seems like they made his order first. I tried to cancelthe order but they had already made it, still waited an additional 8 minutes after I asked. A bit too pricey for soggy Frenchtoast I ended throwing away. Read more
The Lox bagel was fresh, tangy, creamy, and scrumptious. The baby arugula side salad, that came with the Lox bagel, was a zesty... delight. The iced coffee was strong as it was refreshing(very). The customers were also surprisingly refreshing, as a patron andher son were very friendly, and shared with my friend and I, his favorite number (It was 3 and a coincidence, as it is minealso.) Excellent ?????????????????????? Glory to Christ God Almighty ???????? Read more
Hidden gem. Nice ambience and plenty of elbow space. We came at the right time and beat the crowd. Waffle served with a generous... pile of fresh fruit on top. Yogurt was excellent. Just wished they added a dollop of cream on the waffle and melted the cheesein my sandwich. Read more
Staff is nice and accommodating, I didn't want a burrito or sandwich. So they made me a plate of items I did want. Notice I... got a whole avocado, that is rare THANK YOU!! Food was delicious and fresh. Read more
Walking in is awkward as there is nothing to tell you that you need to order first and then have a seat. I walked in, tried... asking a person that was cleaning if we seat ourselves and no response. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt that he didn'thear me. I walked up to the cashier that is located in back of the restaurant and asked. She said to order first. There were noextra menus available to look through while people were ordering and paying. We waited until we were in front of the cashier tolook at a menu, which is awkward and feels rushed. Food was delicious, a bit pricey for quantity. I ordered cafe de olla andit was only coffee with cinnamon powder????. We ordered waffles, brioche French toast (this was a little undercooked), andwaffles with nutella and strawberries (not pictured). For 4 people the total was about $75 including tip. Read more
Came to this coffee shop before noon and they still had the breakfast menu, which it is was delicious. What we had was really... good. The French toast were really good, we also had another breakfast plate, eggs, bacon, home fries potatoes and bread. Thebacon was delicious, the potatoes were average, everything was tasteful. The regular coffee is average, tasted like dark roastbut not too strong. My husband had the pumpkin latte and he liked it. The owner was super friendly and helpful, their bestseller is the Chai latte, but they also offer seasonal coffees. The place is super cute with a Guatemalan kick. We went on aSaturday late morning and it was pretty quiet. Some people like to come to work and drink coffee in this unique coffee place. The lunch sandwiches are delicious too! Read more
