Beer Dogs has been closed for some time now. Reason is unknown, there's no sign on the windows or doors explaining why. The last... update from them was September 6th on their Facebook page with a note that they would be closed. I hope they reopen. Their foodis soooo tasty. The food was great. I loved the angus burger; it was hand made, NOT a preformed patty. Tater tots were perfectly crunchy and... dogs were tasty. I was sad that they took domestic beer (Bud Light) off the tap but enjoyed trying something new (cider). Ourserver, Jennifer, was upbeat and kind. The music was a little loud for my taste, but someone turned it down when they saw mwcobering my ears which was very nice of them. The only thing that bothered me was the cleaning supplies stored out in the openin the restroom, atop the changing table. These could fall on a baby or an older child could get into them if they wereunaccompanied. Read more
BEST BURGERS IN SACRAMENTO. I don't know why it took me so long to try this place. The food was amazing and the service was... ???????? they had one person in the front playing all the roles and she killed it. Busy as hell and she still got everythingright and kept my drinks full. Cool neighborhood bar with a nice menu, it's not all hot dogs. Clean, open space, inviting. The other patrons seemed happy, the... beer was cold and tasted great. For an all beef hot dog, you'll pay $11 each with a choice of fries, tater tots or a side salad. The hot dogs are filling and... delicious. They have a couple local beer, but not a huge selection like you would expect at a brewery. The atmosphere is low-keyand casual. I like how they have board games at each table. Great place for craft beers. My husband and I walk here from home (under 1 mile). It's tucked away in the little shopping plaza... behind Mr. Pickle sandwich shop. We had the sweet potato tater tots, grilled Twinkie, pretzel dogs, the great Western (half) andthe Californian (half). We also had two pints of the high or hell waterman wheat beer. It was all fantastic. It's a small place,but I've never had issues with seating. The majority of the seating is bar seating with stools. It's a nice setting. We bought a house near here and went to celebrate. Fell in love with the place, but the 4 times we?ve tried to go since then... they have ALWAYS been closed. Google and the store hours sign says they should be open but the building is dark with no signsaying why they?re closed. Is this place really even open anymore? Read more
