I was visiting from out of town and took a friend and her family here for her birthday. We arrived just when several people were... leaving so the place was mostly empty. The server got our drink order right away but never came back for our food order. After30 min we saw her going upstairs to clean tables, so we asked about it. By then, about 4 more tables had been seated and hadalready ordered pizza. Finally, another server took our order. We waited 60 min for out pizzas. When we saw our same waitresstaking 2 pizzas upstairs to a party that came in at least 45 min after us, we inquired about our food and asked to speak to amanager. A woman came out finally with our 2 pizzas and was attempting to give them to another table that had recently arrived.We called her over and she reported she was the manager/owner. She checked on when we ordered after us telling her our story.She checked and said "You ordered 60 min ago. It takes time to make fresh food" and left in a huff. No one ever came out afterto check on us, offer us anything or apologize. My friends were horrified by how we were treated. Ok, so the waitress made amistake maybe, but good customer service starts with management. This blond gal was terrible. My friends will never go back andI recommend you don't give business to a restaurant that believes THE MANAGMENT IS ALWAYS RIGHT instead of the customer. BTW oneof our pizzas was hot but the other luke warm and it all cost over $70. Read more

This is a picture of a 4 topping pizza; not sure where the toppings are. It was about a quarter of an inch thick. Frozen pizzas... from the grocery store are better. The service was also non existent. We decided to give it another try since they have newmanagement. We will not be back. Read more

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY. Terrible service. Took 25 minutes for someone to take our order, then another ONE HOUR wait to get our... pizza. Wait staff volunteered to get the manager for us, but when the manager came to our table all she did was pop off thenstomped away mumbling something about fresh food takes time!! Really?! The deep dish was good but the kids that work there need more training and need to stop throwing the pizzas on the counter. When... Not saying they have bad pizza. It is good. Good sauce, good crust and good cheese. But it's a little steep for the price 14"... (largest they have) is $13. Additional toppings is a high $2 charge. You pay $15 for a 1 topping 14" with skimpy toppings forthe price you pay. As pictured in photo, I feel that you should rethink on how much you weigh your food. But hey your profitmargins for 1 pizza should be good then. Read more

Pizza, pasta, hoagies oh my! Been here a couple times, never been disappointed. Most recently ordered the chickem fettuccine... alfredo and parmesan chicken pastas. Both were very good, top 10 for sure, maybe better. Garlic cheese bread was good, but alittle underwhelming. Seemed like nothing more than bread with melted cheese on top, just barely toasted. Carbones is a perennial family favorite. We love to enjoy it year round - especially the outdoor deck and the indoor fireplace.... We've dined at the bar on a few occasions and found a good selection and intimate feel. The pizza is exactly as expected for aTwin Cities Carbone's. The thin crust is crispy and delicious.
