Lovely selection but POOR customer experience!\nOur entry into the store was not acknowledged. Two men conversing at the doorway... behind the counter did not notice us despite a clanging bell on the entry door. One man actually faced us as we stood there buthe did nothing to alert the clerk wearing an apron but no mask.\nOnly when a second party entered the store, did the clerk turnto us. Without moving, he asked twice if we needed help. Finally he came over and pulled out a wheel of cheese. The mask he hadhung on one ear was lazily attempted to be placed over his mouth but then he gave up any effort. He turned his head to continuethe conversation with the other man but then returned to cut the cheese and coughed all over our Cheese section. My patienthusband told him ?we?re done? and left! We walked in and noticed immediately that 2 of the 3 people working were not wearing masks. One of those not wearing a mask was... slicing meat or cheese and talking while he did so. Service came with a side of attitude. Overall, a disappointing experience. Read more
Today (1/2/2020), I had only a short wait to order a sandwich. The sandwich was fine. But I was saddened to see that the staffer... packed it in a Styrofoam container. Styrofoam never biodegrades and is not recyclable. It will sit in our landfills forever.Other deli businesses such as Carl\'s Deli in Hyde Park package their (much more ample) sandwiches in butcher paper and areplaced in paper bags. Please Silverglades: consider the environment and use recyclable and/or biodegradable packaging. At $7.20for a skinny chicken salad sandwich, you can afford it surely. Read more
I really wish I could give more stars but after the last two visits I?ve had here I honestly can?t I waited over 30 minutes one... time to order(granted on a Saturday). The final straw was walking in(Thursday afternoon) to have two I repeat two customers infront of me waited around 10 minutes for anyone to acknowledge me, never happened so when I saw my boyfriend finish up hisbusiness across the street at the meat shop I decided I wasn?t going to waste any more of my time. Food was over priced when compared to proportion service was in my eyes profiled. After I paid for my bacon egg and cheese wrap... I waited on my order to finish to ask for my receipt because I wasn\'t handed it when I paid. Once I asked for it I was ID\'edand asked to show my debit card all for a receipt. No one spoked or greeted me coming in or leaving. And as I waited I waswatched and asked numerous amounts of times if I was already seen. ???? Read more
