I visited here with my case manager today. I have pretty awful anxiety and I feel like it could easily be heard in the way I... talked or seen in the way I acted. A review from someone else had me a bit nervous but personally I never really felt unwelcomedthere. The staff seemed really nice. The pastry was good and the atmosphere seemed pretty calm. It was my first time being therebut i hope you visit again. (I'm sorry if I came off rude at all or forgot my manners. I'm really appreciative. I just need towork on my social skills more. I tend to forget things easily when in public) Read more

Repeat customer here. Won't be going back though. Paid for a coffee with cash this morning and the barista (short haired... brunette, skinny one who always wears bibs) appeared as if she was appalled I was paying with cash as she tossed my change onthe counter instead of handing it to me. I understand my hands probably look kinda dirty because of the line of work I'm in, butI don't have cooties! As I was waiting for my coffee, the same barista was exclaiming that, and I quote, "no one cares aboutEaster!" Well I have news for you: I do! I believe in God. I believe this is an obvious creation that we're living in and it'sfoolishness to believe that billions of years of coincidences created this beautiful world we live in. The big bang theory isabout as likely as a tornado going through a junkyard, and when the storm is over, there's a Boeing 757 sitting there in perfectcondition. I refuse to finance an institution that proudly promotes atheism and transgenderism, and that's the vibe I get frommost the employees there. Think about where your money goes people. It's a shame too because though it's evident that this is anon conservative coffee shop, I would still happily support this small business (and I'm a 4-5 times a week customer that buyscoffee and milkshakes for the kids) if I hadn't of heard that comment. Sad story but true. Employees should keep their politicaland theological opinion to themselves in the earshot of customers. I'll be going to aromas from now on. Read more

Cute shop and nice atmosphere! A couple really cozy seats. We were there on a week day, mid day so we had no trouble getting a... couple chairs. We ordered affogatos (espresso + ice cream). It was a nice sized portion - more than I was expecting! Tastedgreat and the staff was friendly. Read more

Update: I am happy to write great reviews, but never shy away from honesty. I was hoping I had found a local haunt to frequent... and occasionally work away from home. This spot is not it. I ventured away from my usual black coffee today, got a lacklustermocha, and just felt very unwelcome to hang there. Seems like the atmosphere is more decoration than an invitation to stay for abit. Best for a quick cup of black coffee sans the convenience of a drive through. Original review: Solid coffee shop and awelcome addition to Sayler Park! Between this place and Busy Bee (sp?) doughnuts, your breakfast needs are well met. The shopoffers a nice selection of drinks powered by Deeper Roots coffee beans (Deeper Roots is a Cincinnati based coffee roasterboasting artisan farm to cup roasts). All at great prices! It?s wonderful to see this neighborhood perk up with life, percolators and all ???? Read more

The coffee and service were excellent. Plenty of free street parking all around. The building is gorgeous; an old, historic... brick beauty that has been updated on the street level for the coffee shop. Be mindful that there is a step to get in; I had astroller with me that I had to lift over the threshold, but the sweet barista came over to help without even asking. I had aiced coffee and it was delicious. They have indoor and outdoor seating available. Located in such a cute, historic area. It'sworth grabbing a drink and taking a walk around the nearby park or through the neighborhood. Read more
