I went to this location on Reading Rd. Today Sunday 7/10/22. I arrived at 10:30am, the schedule on google said they open at... 10:30am. When I looked inside they were all eating their shift meal. I waited until 11am and finally went to the drive through.Someone came to the mic and said they are not open right now. When I asked when they open, the guy said ?good question, I don?tknow right now? there aren?t any hours posted on the door. How can you operate a business not knowing when you open. I won?tever go back to any Ritchie?s. Totally unprofessional, I don?t trust them to do anything for me. If this is the culture,climate, who knows what goes on there. Read more
Arrived at Ritchies in Bond Hill at approximately 1:15pm. They said they didn't have any catfish, so I indeed mild party wings.... I brought them home and realized they were old and had been sitting fir awhile, maybe even yesterday. The girl who handed myfood had the personality if a rock. I called the restaurant to speak to a manager about the chicken and the phone wentunanswered. I guess it's my fault fir thinking you could get quality food and good customer service in the hood. The wait was long. The building looked pretty bad on the outside. I was skeptical from the start. Not from here. Had never been... before. I only wanted to try one chicken strip. Was told that I couldn't buy one chicken strip. I had to buy the 3 pieces,which was over $5. That rule was odd and out of the norm. My daughter order some items and ended up getting me the three pieces.She wanted to mix a different side. They told her they couldn't do that. I wanted to mix spicy/regular. Again, was told that Icouldn't do that. So that's crazy. By this time, I had enough of Richie's and was ready to return to the South. One piece of thechicken was hard as a brick. I tried another piece and it was edible, but lack taste. NO, NO, NO, I will NOT be returning toRichie's. My daughter said she liked the sweet potato pie. I told her it was probably premade by other vendor. Didn't like theservice nor the high price chicken tenders. My daughter did say that she thinks the downtown location is better. I hope so! Was told to try Richie's by a co-worker. Hands down the best ever!! Never thought about going bc the line is always long and now... I understand why!! The line moves fairly quick and the drive thru person was super nice and patient! Food was hot and fresh!!Sweet potatoe pie is the best I've ever had!! Will definitely visit again soon and often!! Best fries I've ever had in my life. I think they're breaded with cornmeal. Regular and spicy chicken were both delicious. We... ordered red beans and rice and were not disappointed. They had run out of corn bread but the sides more than made up for it.First time in Cincinnati and I was so happy to try this place. Food came super hot and delicious and the wait was not long atall. My experience today at Richie's on Reading Road in bond hills was awful. The line in the drive thru was an half an hour or... longer and when you got up to the speaker they were not taking orders and then when you got up to the window they were out of alot of there sides and was about to be out of the chicken, that was just the worst ever. You should not have to wait that longto get nothing never again. Read more
