Reviews for Nation Pendleton in Cincinnati, OH
I won't share how odd my experience was because that's what happens when you're short staffed but my food was just okay. For the... price the fries or tots should come with the meal bit I blame inflation lol Read more

If it's a beautiful day in downtown Cincinnati and you want to enjoy a good casual dining experience outside, head over to the... Pendleton area in Over The Rhine to Nation Kitchen & Bar. Good draft beer selection too. Left to right, you will see GuinnessStout, Sonder's You Betcha Hazy Juicy IPA, The Phoenix, The Hangover Burger and The Temperance Burger. Very reasonable pricesand completely satisfied. Read more
Just left this restaurant and would never return again. I ordered the southwest salad and a beer and the salad was lower quality... than a pre-made salad from the grocery store. I have never had a bar salad of this low quality in my life. Read more
First time trying Nations at the Pendleton location (usually go to Westwood) with the homies. The Nation burger with a side of... loaded tater tots dipped in Sririacha Ranch was exquisite. I?m always amazed how the burger looks deceivingly small but is soincredibly filling in the end, especially paired with the tots. You could really taste the Memphis BBQ in the burger. The OTRvibes at the Pendleton location make the ambience very refreshing as well. Staff were very kind and accommodating. Definitelyplanning to return here the next time I have a burger craving. There are very few places that serves tots as a side, but Nation takes it a step further with toppings for the tots. They also... server sweet potato tots which are also really delicious! I ordered the burger of the month which was the Five Alarm Burger andit's a burger I would give a 5 out of 5. Everything was fresh and the buns were perfectly toasted and soft. Read more

So already off to a great start. Second, the food. My god that food. One ofmy favorite things was were the skyline tater tots. Very much worth it and will be back again very soon. Read more
I'm going to give this place the benefit of the doubt and say that I think they're probably better than my experience and I'm... sure that when they're busy and in full stride, their food is more 4 star-ish than a 3. I ordered a Nation burger, my wifeordered the Quesadilla, and our friend ordered the Memphis BBQ burger. I was surprised when we weren't asked how we'd like ourburger down. Mine was served a solid medium and I like it a little more rare but it wasn't overcooked. The bun seemed dry, almost as if it were slightly stale and the burger needed more sauce. My wife had the same sauce issue with her Quesadillaburger, which to me resembled a patty melt wrapped in a tortilla. The Tots, Totcho style, were the hit of the table, and Icould see where a big plate of these along with a few beers would cause you to give this place two thumbs up. The corn dogappetizer was a winner as well. I'm use to a more savory version of this but the honey flavor in the corn batter definitelywasn't offensive at all - in fact, quite nice. The honey mustard sauce accentuated the sweetness of the corn dog (a little toomuch to my liking) and the siracha in the siracha ketchup got lost to the sweetness of the ketchup and the honey in the corndogbatter. Still, not a bad appetizer and definitely something that would complement a few good beers. I might give this place a2nd look during busier hours because I loved the location and the building they were in. If you go, make sure you take a tripdown the block to the ice cream store that is there - worth the trip, especially their espresso soft serve ice cream! Read more
