Chicago Dog was surprisingly tasty. Coney was nothing like I remembered it to be years ago, so was disappointing, it was just... OK. Fries were OK. Didn't have to ask for condiments or napkins. Drive through is super thin with concrete wheel stops,scratched rim turning in. Food expensive for what you get. Won't be back. Read more

Got: 2 Chili cheese dogs and fries Service was good with a reasonable wait time. But after reading all the reviews I gave them... a try today and was disappointed. Not a fan of boiled hot dogs to begin with, second chili was barely noticeable and what littlewas eventually found tasted like it was maybe Hormel (caned chili) and lastly, as much as I am a fan of cheese and as expensiveas it is my order was absolutely Covered with a ridiculous amount of cheese. Ridiculous amount. Again, I am a fan of cheese. Butgive them a try, you may be a fan. The deal breaker for me is boiled dogs and canned chili. Read more
Just love Mr. Gene's. I haven't been there in a long time and it was nice to know it is still in the family. The food was just... as good as it was when I was there years ago. I had the Chicago dog and the best fries. Friendly service. Clean as a pin andeverybody with gloves on. When you're looking for fast food and you live in Northside you just have to remember Mr. Gene's. Iwill go back soon! Read more

Mr. GENE'S is THE best cheese coney in Cincinnati period. Better than all the rest. I've been going for over 30 years.
