Mi Cozumel Cantina was good. We googled restaurants near us and off we drove. The building is nice. The restaurant was clean.... The restrooms were clean. There was a Mouth Wash Dispenser in the restroom, so cool. We ordered food and lemonade drinks (dryice) the smoke was fun. The presentation was everything!!!! I thought, there is noway it could taste as good as it looked? ????Wrong!! The food was BETTER.. I ordered a stuffed shrimp burrito and then added chicken... I could only eat 1/3 of theburrito.. I will get the not so fun part out. Our waiter was very short tempered and a little rude. I went to ask a question and he was... gone. Yes, the restaurant was busy however I had never visited before and had questions. Now let?s skip to the good part. Theportion sizes are more than enough for two people. I had the shrimp tacos. Which came in a quantity of 3. The atmosphere of therestaurant is fine and light hearted! The drink prices are fair for the size of the drink. There is plenty of parking. Pleasenote six or more in your party the tips are automatically included in the check. Give the restaurant a try and review the menubefore just in case you get a short tempered server. Read more

My family loves Mexican food. We've tried many restaurants around the city. Yesterday my husband suggested we try Mi Cozumel in... Brentwood Plaza. It was fantastic! The service top notch! The staff and food deserve 5 stars! But the atmosphere leaves more to be desired. We were there to celebrate my son?s birthday... and there was a very loud party by us that was very distracting. The loudness wasn?t the issue but an intoxicated guest who wassprawled out on the restaurant floor was appalling. The management should have asked her to get off the floor or have someonetake her home because this shouldn?t be acceptable behavior in a restaurant. Also this could be a big liability on thisestablishment since they served her so much alcohol. This continued for the first 30 minutes or so that we were there and thelady was being overly loud and o quite frankly obnoxious. If we were in a club or a bar, I wouldn?t have cared. But a restaurantwith children there? No. Once she left, things improved and we really did enjoy our dinner. Staff was attentive andaccommodating and the food and drinks are the best of any Mexican restaurant around! I wish they would make sure their guestsare respectful of others around them. The staff that eventually greeted us in the crowded entry were very courteous and accommodating, seating us as soon as 2 seats... at the bar became available! However, once seated at the bar, no one acknowledged our presence. There were several staffmembers who passed our area, at least 5 different associates. We stopped the first young man after he greet and immediatelyattended to another customer who sat down 20 minutes after us. We asked for water and drinks. He brought water. We asked if wecould plavlce drink and food orders, and he replied that he wasn't our waiter. We asked a young lady she said she'd get someone. After 30 minutes, we got our drink order placed. Got the drinks, but no one ever came back to take our food order. Would haveloved to try the Corn and Steak fajitas, yet all we ever got was A Lonely Drink! I've heard "great" things about this place so I stopped by after bible study to order take out. The staff was attentive when we... walked in, pleasant, placed our order fast and we didn't wait long. From where I stood, restaurant appeared clean and well kept.Slight crowd and people coming as we waited. We ordered 2 soft taco "deluxe" combo chicken/beef with rice/beans, taco salad andspecial chicken burrito. My opinion on the food..."not great"!. My food was cold, beans and rice was good but it was all cold,didn't even eat the beef taco, the meat on the salad looked dried out, the chips was hard & over cooked, the guac was overseasoned and salsa was frozen ????????. My son said the chicken burrito was the best "he ever had"...it was huge! I knew I wastaking a big risk ordering to go but I did & I probably will never eat from that location again. I'm not necessarily a huge fan of Mexican foods but this place is freaking amazing. The service is great the people are friendly... and the food is well worth the money. I had never been here before and took my wife out for a date night and she likes Mexicanso we figured we'd give this place a try. You can't go wrong here. 10 of 10 will be back. Read more

Exciting Atmosphere, Tasty Food This was my first visit to Mi Cozumel. I ordered online and went inside to pick up my order. I... loved the colorful decor and the music gave the restaurant an exciting atmosphere. I ordered a Hot & Spicy Burrito. It wasdelicious and big enough for two, although it wasn't quite as spicy as I expected it to be. I would have given the restaurant a5-star rating except nobody was wearing a mask. Not one employee and not a single guest. I still believe masks are important tohealth and safety. Read more
