Reviews for Kinneret Grill in Cincinnati, OH
Hidden gem! We stopped by over 4th of July weekend and they had a nearly-full reservation list. They were able to seat us just... before the place filled up. The atmosphere is very nice and the service was great! They look to have a small staff so they werehustling from table to table, but the experience as a whole was good. We tried several items on the menu and our favorites werethe Latkes, Sesame Orange Chicken, and the Chicken Schwarma Plate. Overall experience was great and it?s worth stopping in. Justremember to make reservations as this location fills up quick! Read more
Great food. Only downside is the long wait for the food. Takes 30 - 50 minutes until the food is ready Yikes.
35 min waited for our food and there was no sign of it coming anytime soon, decided not wait anymore and simply told them to... cancel. Was there few years ago and had concern but not much kosher options so gave it another try wont make that mistake again Read more
Katie our waitress was very pleasant. Moroccan cigars were excellent. Falafel and Israeli Salad too. Humus, grape leaves and... banganush could use some work. Overall a good experience. Read more
Haven't been to Cincinnati in a few years, but wanted to try Kinneret Grill as I'd heard they'd evolved from a dairy joint to a... meat place. I remember when Avner began the venture, and it's good to see they're still around, and with a much improvedambiance. We stopped by on the first night of Hanukkah around 7 PM after requesting a reservation. Our table was kindly saved, but they did not seem overly busy, with only 2 or 3 other tables occupied. I asked the waitress if Avner was around, andapparently he's around during the lunch shift, while his wife Karen is there after lunch. We sat down and placed our orders. Itseemed to take a bit of time for our order to come, but we had the time and enjoyed an IPA until our food arrived. In keepingwith the Hanukkah theme, we got the Latkes, which were delicious and fried very properly. For our actual dinners, we ordered theMediterranean plate and the Bacon Burger. While the burger was absolutely juicy and delicious (with serviceable fries), theMediterranean plate was far more mediocre. Many, if not all, items from that plate were readily identifiable by taste as theprepackaged goods I always get from the store, rather than fresh offerings. Overall, I'd like to come by again and give themanother shot if I'm in the area, but the impression I walked away with is that the food is hit or miss here. Read more
Disappointing is the best description I can give. I was looking for a good Mediterranean restaurant and decide to give Kinneret... a try. If you are looking for a Kosher restaurant then this is probably a good choice, the decor and atmosphere are reallynice. Food was really disappointing. Babba Ganush should not be sweet like candy and the falafel tasted like it came out of afrozen bag not freshly made, totally bland, hard and not good. Won't be visiting Kinneret again, but hopefully they willimprove their offering. Nice place horrible food. Read more
WOW!!! I mean just look at the Chicken Shawarma Sandwhich!!! Oh my goodness, those sweet potato fries. I have NEVER tasted sweet... potato fries like this. I came for lunch. The lady that welcomed me when I came in, then ultimately gave me my order was veryfriendly. Lunch price was not bad at all. With the quality of food and the amount of food. This is defiantly worth $10.95 Ipaid. I will, for sure, be a repeat customer for lunch, specially since I work right around the corner. Read more
Quick and pleasant service. Ordered the chicken shawarma and rice as well as the Mediterranean plate. Two cokes. Was a little... surprised at the small portion of the chicken shawarma at $25 a plate. We were informed they were out of rice and chose fries asan alternative. Chicken shawarma was delicious - blend of spices was very flavorful. The fries, sadly, were the star of theplate. Mediterranean plate was good - best falafel I have ever had! The hummus was a little watery, pita was excellent. Stuffedgrape leaves were good. Babaganoush was a little bland, but better with salt. The cucumber and tomato salad was a wonderfulfresh addition to the platter. I?m adding the updated menu as it is no longer four pages and MANY items have been removed. Read more
