I?ve been going here since I was a little kid. The employee retention is unreal. I swear the same people have been working here... for at least 5 years. The service is always good when I come here. The atmosphere is always so friendly, even among the otherpatrons that eat here. I really love their fish sandwich and I always get fries with it. The amount of tartar sauce they put onthe sandwich is perfect. I loved coming here as a kid and coloring on their placemats and eating mac and cheese. My family lovestheir tartar sauce. First of all I'll say that the staff here is great. Waitress did a fine job. I ordered bacon and eggs with hash browns and... wheat toast. With a coffee. The bacon really isn't anything to brag on. Thin and slightly underdone. Hash browns also couldhave been crisped up a little more. But I wouldn't even have mentioned this if the price was reasonable. Trouble is, it's not. My breakfast was 13.45 . No breakfast is worth that much. Coffee was 3 bucks. I paid too much for a big boy platter the otherday too. I said then I was done with Frisch's but gave breakfast a chance since I've always liked it. I won't pay those kind ofprices so I guess that's it. Read more
WOW! I understand some businesses are having issues with supply shortages etc. But it's ridiculous to charge someone 89¢ each,... for cheese sauce and to only fill the container with a tablespoon of melted cheese!!!!!! We tried this place during Cincinnati's Burger Week. The restaurant is quaint inside and the service was prompt and friendly.... The burger had at the most 2oz. beef. It was almost paper thin. The steamed broccoli may have been steamed originally but tastedas if it had been microwaved to reheat. I am sad to say that the food was so disappointing. Read more
The restaurant was clean, the decor was quaint, and our server was friendly and attentive. Thus endeth the good part. The food... was weak. My coke was 85% ice and no refill ( free or otherwise) was offered. My burger was, not exaggerating here, as thin asa crepe. If it weighed two ounces BEFORE cooking, I would be astounded. The fries were 1/4 of what you'd expect in amount, andwere limp. The side of broccoli tasted thrice reheated, and the cole slaw wasn't good at all. Good place for burgers for sure. The greeting committee must have been on break, it was difficult to know what to do when we... first came in the door. We ended up ordering on our phones, then as soon as we had our order placed, a waiter showed up askingto take our order. It as a little confusing, but we?ll try it again sometime. Read more
Came in last night with the Mrs. for dinner. Restaurant wasn't as clean as it used to be. However, service was great. Our... waitress promptly took our orders (2 sandwich platters) and promptly brought out our drinks and coleslaws. Noticed the menuseems to have been scaled back? Prices have increased for entrees to the point where Frisch's is positioning itself in linewith other more 'fancy' restaurants. It feels like they are trying to maximize profits but what's they're doing is pricingthemselves out of their market niche. Especially with drinks. My cherry coke was $4.50. I can get a 16oz beer at other placesfor that cost. If you come drink water. Our food was fine. It was very cold inside. Like a door was open somewhere so I atewith my coat on. We were in and out in under 30 minutes. Our meal with tip was $40. I felt sorry for some of the youngerfamilies coming in with mom/dad and 3 kids.
