Excellent pulled pork and brisket! Staff is friendly! Highly recommended!
We came here later in they day and they were out of several things, which is okay. We had the brisket sandwiches and tried the... maple glazed carrots, mac n cheese, and baked beans. The brisket was great but the sides were just okay. A little disappointedthey didn?t offer chips or fries for a side. They staff was friendly. The place itself was a little odd and disheveled. Thereisn?t much seating available. There?s a little sitting area with an Xbox and such, I?m not sure why. There is a lot of ?stuff?everywhere. There is no public bathroom. Check out this little gem!! Pulled Chicken Sandwich, with baked beans, and smashed potatoes. Very lovely patio style... restaurant. Overly friendly staff, and extremely tasty food. The smashed potatoes were amazing topped with a creamy cheesesauce. Brussel sprouts, not pictured - served with a sweet and sour chili sauce that was killer! Read more
A recent small fire closed their Front Street foodery in New Richmond, Ohio, for a few weeks so we visited the original store at... 9 Mile off US 52 East. We had the BBQ bowls with mac and cheese! I have been here twice, unfortunately i have not had the same pleasant experience as others on here. My brisket consisted of... nothing but fat and my pulled pork was the same to the point very little was edible. What really aggravated more was i asked forno sauce on my brisket and vinegar (nc) sauce on my pulled pork. They were placed in the same box mixed in together bothcompletely soaked in vinegar sauce. Vinegar works great on pork but not so much on beef, or at least I don't think so. Reasonwhy i didn't ask for sauce on my brisket to begin with. Read more
Good food, quick and courteous service. Wish I had asked for extra sauce, but got the sampler so I could try it all (and have... leftovers). Brisket and pulled pork were juicy and tender. The ribs were delightful!! The chicken was not my favorite, as it wasa bit dry. I was impressed with the New Richmond location in terms of service and excellent food. I will definitely be back.Plus they have a turtle and you can?t go wrong there. Would have given them 6 stars for the turtle. Read more
Good place. I got the Pulled Pork Sandwich w/the North Carolina (NC) sauce & Baked Beans. The pulled pork was delicious. The NC... sauce wasn't really a "sauce". It would make a good rub. It was delicious but very thin. In the future, I'll try another saucethat they offer; probably the Sweet Kansas City Style. The Baked Beans were good but I think they are Bush's brand; probablyGrillin' Beans. Overall, not bad. I would give them an 8 out of 10 due to the NC sauce. Read more
