This place is incredible! Our group had the oxtail, mac and cheese, collard greens, stir fry, soul food plate and Cajun pasta... and everything was INCREDIBLE. We were all eating off of each other's plates. The staff here is beyond exceptional, and we're sohelpful when we were deciding what to eat. Could not recommend more! Read more
So, I was just looking for new spot to eat. I hit up Google and it lead me here. Let me tell you, this food was amazing. I had... the soul food plate with a side of cabbage and the rasta pasta with chicken and shrimp. You will not be disappointed. They askedif it was our 1st time and once they knew that it was.....the staff was more than happy to explain the entire menu. Needless tosay, the food and service was great! Update 10/28/2022 I really did not want to rate this place lower than my original rating, but I have tried over the last year... to be a regular customer to no avail. I literally live around the corner yet i have only been able to patronize the restaurantonce. Since my original post, I have had to deal with trying to order when they first open only to be told they were alreadyout of food. I have dealt with ordering before closing to be told they ran out of food earlier in the day. I tried to book aprivate anniversary dinner and did not receive a call back bc he thought I meant that week and not the month I asked for. TodayI ordered online before they opened. I went to pick it up only to be told they do not use the online service any longer, thedid not have my order, I would have to call and tell the online service to not use them anymore and when I tried to place theorder in the store, they were out of everything except the chicken! They had only been open an hour!!! What makes me upset isthat the food is DELICIOUS! However, I will not attempt to patronize again! When I tell you this was well worth the wait. Big Jay was kind enough to wait for me to pick up my order after work. Everything was fresh. My new spot!!! Read more
