This place has gone down hill big time. I?ve been going here for years, but it has now reached the point where I don?t believe... that I will be patronizing again. The place was beyond dirty. The floors, windows, tables, chairs, ceiling, etc. we?re filthy.There was a random box in the middle of the seating area that probably should have been in the back. On top of all of thatflys we?re everywhere throughout the restaurant. It makes me wonder what the areas where customers can?t see look like. Alsohow does it pass a health inspection. The owners clearly do not care about the restaurants appearance or cleanliness. The staffis very rude. They make you feel like an inconvenience when you?re ordering or asking a question. Also half of the staff wearair pods, and ignore you when you try to ask a question since they can?t hear you while wearing those. Some of the staff weren?twearing gloves when handling food. The bagels are good, but that?s about it. The bacon is disgusting and very disappointing. Itappears to be microwaved, is hard as a rock, and they barely put 1 piece of bacon on my breakfast bagel sandwich. Incrediblydisappointing to see one of my favorite breakfast restaurants be completely run down. There are a lot better places around toget bagel sandwiches at around the East Side of Cincinnati? make sure you visit one of those establishments instead of this one. Read more
I?ve been coming to BAB for over 15 years and I?ve always enjoyed it. This last visit left me wondering if I?ll come back. The... list is long but I?ll hit the highlights. I ordered the combo which includes drink and chips or 3 mini muffins. Chips wereavailable but there was no ice and 3/4 of the drink selection was empty. When I asked a person behind the counter to help uswith getting our 3 muffins, instead of helping us, he asked who took our order so they could get the muffins that were right infront of him. The last big issue I have was the place was disgustingly dirty, especially the bathrooms. If they don?t keep theareas that customers see clean, what does it look like back in the kitchen? I?m not sure what went wrong with my Bagel shop. I have been going there since 2006. The last couple of times the bagels were... not as good and not as big as of past years. Maybe it?s the Management or Ownership, but today was the last straw for me. Thegirl that took my order got everything wrong. The fact that she had AirPods in should have clued me in. Wrong bagel, wrong creamcheese, charged me for the more expensive bagel. When I came back in they gave me the correct bagel and cream cheese, however itwas such a disappointment of what I have been accustomed to for 16 years. Do better, I don?t want your reputation of a goodbagel shop to become tainted. Read more
I feel like it?s really gone down hill. I haven?t had a good experience in a while. Either out of bagels or just not what it... used to be. My blueberry bagel today was hard as a rock and had absolutely no flavor to it what so ever. Very sad considering Iused to love this place. I probably won?t be returning. Read more
First time visiting this amazing little place and let me say I'll return frequently. From the pleasant and sweet helpful... employee that didnt rush me while choosing from their amazing options and also giving me help with ordering to the amazingsection of fresh baked bagels and muffins this place is hands down a GOLD PRIZE WINNER ???? .
