I like their Italian soda. It tastes better without the jelly tho because it will be too sweet. The crispy chicken here is so... scrawny and dry. I accidentally stabbed myself in the thigh with the stick because it bounced off the extra dry tiny chickenpiece. The only location I like is the one on convoy for snow bubble. Read more

I don't get why people go here when there's way better boba options nearby for the same price or less. The snow bubbles tend to... be too icy (like you can't taste the flavor too much especially on taro), and the other offerings aren't that special. The bobais hit or miss, I remember going 2 yrs ago and it was undercooked, but recently I went and it seemed to be solid and a bitsweeter than other places (I think due to saving some of the sugar from cooking) which was a pretty nice touch. But in generalyou can get better quality drinks at the three or so shops nearby in Otay Ranch, or Lollicup by Southwestern if you're willingto drive further. Read more

Their phone doesn't ring. Calls never go through. This has been going on for months and they seem completely unbothered by this... fact. Food ordered on Doordash is always incorrect and you can't even get a hold of anyone to rectify. Won't order from themagain. Read more

Customer service is good. I wish they use bigger pieces of chicken for their crispy chicken combo. If you want the best chicken... combo plate from Tapioca Express, go to the one located at Convoy. Read more

Weirdest experience at a business ever. The girl working the register was playing a game on her phone while working. The store... was slow so I get it, but she didn?t even put the game down to take my order, she was so into the game she didn?t even make eyecontact with me while I ordered and paid. Then my drink was not good, just a heads up their Vietnamese iced coffee is not evenclose to actual Vietnamese iced coffee. So as I was sitting in this non air conditioned, dark and musty cafe to have my drinkthe other two employees were talking about how annoying that girl was to work with, they were not even trying to be discretewith their conversation. They were cussing amongst each other like if customers weren?t there. Such a strange experience. Iwill never go back and I don?t recommend it at all. Read more

So, normally I would rate this place 5 stars. I love Tapioca Express. I've gone to several locations all over California,... including this location which is near my home. I came here with my mom today (we left about 5 minutes ago) and was bothered byhow my mother and I were treated. I understand limiting the amount of patrons in the store at one time, but we were the onlycustomers and we were made to not only wait outside in the heat for our order, but none of the employees bothered to comeoutside and let us know our order was done. The female employee at the cash register simply yelled at us from inside of thebuilding. When we went inside, we looked at her and she just said "oh, was I not loud enough?". Then, as we were walkingoutside, she turns to her male coworkers and says "was I loud enough this time? I'm getting louder!" and they all laughed itoff. The whole situation was inappropriate. Someone should have at least come to the door and told us our order was readyinstead of yelling at us from inside of the building. Read more
