I found this to be a good place that I enjoyed and will most likely go again. Great wine selection! Pizza is good. Not too... heavy and a very good tasting beet salad. Our waitress was awesome! Her name was Dahlia and she was attentive, friendly andalthough she was busy, she kept her smile and great personality the whole time. There is an outdoor seating Area if you likethat. For us, it was rather cold on the night we went so we ate inside and it is a little tight in there for my liking.Surprisingly the food and drinks were delivered to our table and service was consistent enough that I didn't even notice afterbeing seated. Just like the original location this pizzeria, in my opinion it’s one of the best not only in Chula Vista, but in San Diego... County. Great service, great tasting pies, awesome selection of wines, and excellent family atmosphere….and also this locationis DOG FRIENDLY ????. The waiter was great. He was polite and helpful. However the hostess wasn't kind. She wasn't mean but she also didn't use her... brain. I am a heavy woman and my spouse isn't thin either she sat us a blocking the door to outdoor seating and next to a tablethat didn't have manners when it came to seating, but they had kids. Seating is a bit tight. I was self conscious the whole timebecause of this. Now what you are really here for, how was the food? Calamari: We started with calamari because we can onlyfind good calamari 30+ min away. Most places offer flavourless slices like compressed fish sticks. This place was great withpresentation, it was beautifully golden brown. There were rings and baby squids! The flavor was a bit salty and had I know ithad red pepper flakes I would have asked for it without. Pizza: We saw that a lot of people were getting the pizza and why notget pizza at a pizzeria! We ordered the Gino's white pizza. It was fantastic! The crust wasn't so greasy you feel your arteriesclog and it wasn't so hard you think your throat will bleed. The crust was perfect and didn't need a sauce to want to eat it.The toppings were great especially with the touch of fresh garlic! The ricotta wasn't a sweet flavor but savory. Tiramisu: Wehad a coupon for a free desert so we said why not try it. This desert was delicious. It wasn't dried out lady fingers but lightand like eating a cloud. Pizzos #1 was our favorite spot now they made #2 closer to our home. As good as the original. Sad the buffalo gorgonzola wings... aren't available anymore they were so good the bites just dont hit the same. San miguel is the best thing on the menu. Perfect combination... the Stallion pizza with Caesar Salad!! Great wine and great service!

The place was crowded when we went around 5pm but the kitchen was good at bringing the food out. We got the meatballs and the... cheesy garlic bread for appetizers, cacio crema with chicken and pizza for our main dish. The appetizers were very delicious.The Alfredo fettuccine was good as well. No disappointment here. Same good quality fresh ingredients. You can tell by the sauce, If there's any left over. Parking is... horrible so plan your trip. Owner was cooking and manager was very well dressed. Servers were friendly and well dressed. Hosteswas friendly and went out ihere way to help seat people. Tiramisu ahh to die for! Read more
