We were referred here by my Daughter. I spent my teenage years in New Orleans and I have always loved the food so my standards... are pretty high. Well, this place didn\'t disappoint. The flavors were there and everything was cooked well. The best friedpickles I have ever eaten, hands down.\n\nI had the Louisiana seafood plate, it was a creamy spicy carbonara sauce with shrimp, crawfish tails, bacon, two types of sausage and penne pasta. It tasted great! The only thing is I could tell the shrimp wasfrozen.\n\nI wish there were better options for the supply of fresh seafood right now. The only advice I could give is reviewthe thaw routine/schedule.\n\nMy wife had the Oyster Po Boy and she loved it.\n\nWe will be back again! Read more

My husband and I ate here a month ago and LOVED it!! Tonight we did a takeout order of fried pickles and 2 patty melts. The... pickles were yummy! But I was very disappointed with the patty melts. The fries were burnt and the cheese was not melted. Read more

I was driving along 90 and saw this small cafe ahead on the map by an hour or so and it grabbed my attention. It looked like it... was new and that the people that have been willing to try it have enjoyed their visit. It was well worth passing by all the fastfood to be able to eat here!\n\nThe staff were friendly and attentive. The kitchen was easy to see from where orders are placedand it was pristine. The dining area has a different layout style, but it was recently remodeled and has a goodatmosphere.\n\nThe food was ready quickly and there\'s a lot there for such reasonable prices. I had the catfish po\' boy, andit was filled with catfish that was perfectly done. The breading on the outside was just right, and the sauce that came on theside was ideal to add flavor without overpowering the fish. Also, can\'t forget their hot sauces! They had a large selection ofhot sauces from which to choose, obviously I had to go with a classic New Orleans hot sauce and was amazed how it helped bringeverything together.\nThe fries were not as good as the sandwich, which could have been due to the time required to consume thecatfish. They are thinner style fries with a light seasoning, they were not as crunchy as I would like for fries. I\'m going toassume that was likely due to the time they sat on my dish while I enjoyed the main course.\nThe hush puppies were well cooked, just not my style of hush puppies as they were denser than I prefer, but they did have great flavor!\n\nMy friend ordered theshrimp and grits and said it was amazing, I plan on try that if I\'m in the area again.\n\nOverall, if I was in the area again Iwould not hesitate to stop and grab some amazing food at a great price from this small town cafe! We were in the area to visit the falls and I googled local eats. We\'re FL/La. residents so the name and menu were right up our... alley. We got there JUST before the dinner rush. Definitely a place the locals enjoy. Wonderful service and the food wasDELICIOUS. Read more

We had heard good things about this place and was in the area. I ordered fried grouper basket with a side of gouda grits which... came with 2 hush puppies. My husband ordered the patty melt that comes with fries. Mine was very good, the only complaintwhich may not be someone else\'s was the hush puppies were a little packy, not as light and fluffy as I prefer. My husband\'spatty melt was good too, just the cheese wasn\'t really melted. We would go back! Read more
