My husband and I love this place. My husband is a British Indian and I'm Peruvian, so between us both, we share a similar... palette. VDESI is simply delicious!! I truly love and appreciate the vegetarian nature of Indian food. Their use of spices istruly amazing and this restaurant has it down. We usually order on Grub Hub but we recently stopped by for take out and reallyliked their dining area. They also have a nice banquet area and the decor is modern. Came here for dinner with a party of 14. The decor was beautiful and food was delicious. The onion kulcha, the Chicken Tikka... Masala, Paneer Tikka Masala, Malai Kofta, Chicken kabobs were so flavorful. For a party of 14, the bill was very resonablypriced and portions were good size. We all enjoyed. However, the restaurant is lacking in customer service. The server was notvery attentive, didn't greet us, did not engage in asking questions regarding the meal or menu, or if we would like more drinks.The menu is a QR code and had no descriptions of the food. Even though we are familiar with the cuisine we still had questionsabout the menu items. Also, he was dressed very casual and did not look like an employee, a bit unprofessional without auniform. This place was weird. We got there at 8pm..Online it says open till 10. Their door has s sign that reads open till 10 and they... had an open sign lit up. The entry is directly into the eating area.... no one greeted us or acknowledged our existence. So wesit down (there were 3 other tables of people eating so thought maybe this is a self seating place??). The menu is a qr code butthe thing was filthy. And the menu had no descriptions of items or photos which was super annoying. We sat for about 5mins asa guy brought out food to the table next to us thinking he'd say hi or ask if we needed anything... tried to get his attentionbut nope. Then he came back and locked the front door. It was all super strange. So my guy walks up to a worker behind the barto see how we order/ask if they're open, and the worker said 'sometimes we're open till 10pm' and then walked away. Sometimes??And no other information.
