We went on a Saturday afternoon for earl y Father?s Day lunch. The waiter took the order, and came back once after we got our... meals, just to ask about our orders. That?s it, and he didn?t show up again. He did not asked if we wanted refill ondrinks. The St.Louis ribs and Tri-tip were Delicious. Beef ribs were good but there were some burnt areas. $180 for this meal. For starters it was stone cold which I didn?t read that we had to cook it and it wasn?t ready to serve. Our... oven broke so obviously cooking it was out of the question. My parents used to get this meal every year and it always came readyto serve in tray, included salad and apples as well. Never once was it served in small containers and cold. Why would I paytriple the money it would cost to cook my own dinner if I still had to cook it? But because our oven broke about a week ago, wehad no other choice and seeing what my parents got before, I had high hopes we would be satisfied. what makes it worse, some ofthe containers were only half full. We had 6 people to feed, at most, this would feed 3 people except maybe the turkey whichwasn?t even the turkey we ordered. We ordered for it to be cut up. We ended up calling to return and get a refund letting themknow our oven was broken and we couldn?t even cook it. They ended up giving us 6 individual turkey dinners which in my opinionended up being more food than what was in the containers. Our dinner rolls however were rock solid and crumbled like crazy theminute we tried to pull them apart so we couldn?t even eat those. Never again will we order thanksgiving dinner from here. Verydisappointing and a huge rip off!!! For the amount of food we were given in each container we could have gotten it all for lessthan 30 dollars. Read more
I judge every BBQ place by their brisket, and I was rather disappointed. The serving I got was pretty dry and didn?t have good... flavor, even when compared to other chain restaurant BBQ places like Dicky?s. Maybe I was just there on an off day. They shouldreally separate their lunch and dinner menus so you don?t realize you are paying substantially more money for the exact sameplate during dinner. They do have good sauces here though and I liked the macaroni and cheese. Read more
Good food. Nice location. We had the brisket and gumbo, With mac n cheese as a side. The bread and butter was very good for... starters. Nothing was amazing, but all was decent. We went during lunch, we luckily beat the lunch rush and it wasn't thatcrowded at 1130a. We ate in the bar area. This is the chino/Chino hills location off of the 71. Read more
I'm from Texas so take this with a grain of salt. I was not impressed with the barbecue (we got baby back ribs, brisket, and... burnt ends plus other non-barbecue items) nor the gumbo and the biscuits (sweet biscuits). If you have no idea nor palate forTexas-Louisiana fare, then you might like their food. The ambiance and the service were great (they did a great portrayal of avintage southern home) and they have a great bar selection. Read more
I had the trip tip with the hatch chili grits and fried okra and my husband had sausage and St. Louis style ribs with loaded... mashed potatoes and the roasted Mexican corn. Everything was absolutely delicious. The service was good and the draft beers werenice and cold. I highly recommend this place for a fabulous meal. Read more
