Ordered to go for a party with XL lumpiang shanghai. Very disappointing. It was burnt and clumped together. The 4 crispy pata... were slightly burnt, too. The XL pancit bihon was the only decent one from all the order. It was used to be that bad before. They even catered my 60th bday. Will never order from them again. Read more

Glad for a real Filipino food. But they need to up the tastes. We had a group of 5, and they charged 18.5 percent on my bill... for services fees, they still asked for tip. Wowwwww. We've eaten there before and they had a full menu and better tastes. BTW my bill for 5 was 135.00. Read more

I am giving this place five stars because as a vegetarian there is a couple of dishes that I can eat here. Also even though they... are extremely busy their customer service is fantastic. Just be patient when a lot of people are eating there. Read more

July 2022 Update: From another previous online order, I was overcharged for a crispy diniguan, so I pointed it out in my receipt... but didn?t have my physical card (they couldn?t process through apple wallet) so the lady assured me I have a store credit andit should automatically apply next time I order the same dish. So, I ordered a variety of dishes - with crispy diniguan, but wastold there was no credit in their system. It?s a small amount, it?s not about the money but it?s about integrity. So to be fair,I took down another star. Update: I had to take down one star because both fresh lumpia I ordered last time smelled and tastedalmost spoiled and I?m not taking any chances and threw them away - wasted money. I will bump this back to 5 stars if my nextorders come up well. Original post: It?s a Filipino restaurant, I always order mine to go for family celebrations. I recommendthe Crispy Kare-Kare. I still order here and my new favorite is the fish fillet that?s fried just right with sweet and soursauce on the side. Read more

Place was pretty good for the type of fare we got at this place. I was with several people so we got the platters (47.00... ea). For the crispy platter the highlight was the crispy pata (fried pork knuckles). Meat was tender and moist from the meltedcollagen. The rest were the usual deep fried staples. Lechon kawaii (pork belly) was firm and crisp. The fried chicken was kindof dry bit still ok. The BBQ platter was in general pretty good. They were all shared the sweet sugar seasoning and grilled tohave some caramelized surfaces on the meat, but not enough to be burnt. We ordered the sinigang na hipon (14.99) (vinegar soupwith shrimp). It was perfect for cleansing our palate after eating the sticky and rich platters. Shrimp was boiled just right,as we as the veg. This I would suggest getting. Pancit canton (12.00) was excellent, the best I ever had. It had wok hei andwas not soggy like most pancit canton I had. I believe the gravy that usually accompanies this dish was fried in during cooking.Exceptional. The pork sisig (12.99) was fine. I had a few things to pick about it. There was no or little black pepper present;it did plenty of red and green peppers on the plus side. They could dial down on the vinegar too. The most important that thisrestaurant And most other do is to cook then ingredients more to make the collagen in the ears to dissolve the recipe into asticky gelatinous mess. Cooking these items took a while. I say about 30 min for the amount of food we had. We tries takingitems to go before the closing time of 8 pm on Monday, but the say they could do them even halo halo. Disappointing. In shortthe sinigang and the pancit canton are must haves. Crispy pata is great too. Just the service was kind of lacking. Read more

Food is delicious and affordable. The Fried Kare Kare is so good. The bulalo I ordered is extraordinary and the fried pompano... was very well grilled. It took an hour for my order to be ready. The wait at the end is well worth it. If ever you are in ChinoHills or close to the area and are craving for Filipino food, this is the place to be for a take out or dine in. Read more

Excellent food with warm and friendly service. Came here with my mom and grandma, ordered the fried squid, bulalao, and sisig... bangus. All the dishes tasted amazing and were presented beautifully. The squid was done very well and the lemon cream dippingsauce complimented the appetizer very well. Read more

Takes too long to serve the food but it's worth the wait. Kare-kare was good. The crispy fried chicken and their own sauce was... yummy. Halo-halo was average. We bring family and friends to this place to let them taste the food and they liked it. Plus theprice was reasonable. The place was a little bit small for a big family gathering Read more
