A subpar restaurant- badly prepared food, indifferent wait staff and management. It rated as a 1star only because no stars... isn't possible. My wife ordered salmon and I ordered a full rack of babyback ribs, the waitress told me it was made with'special bbq sauce' and some onion rings as an appetizer. Our salads arrived before the appetizer - ok, happens, however thesalads consisted of a handful of chopped lettuce, slice of white onion, and 2 green cherry tomatoes. House made salad dressingapparently means ?we scoop it out of #10 can of institutional grade salad dressing and put it in a plastic cup in house?. Mysalmon arrived, and it was under cooked (part of it still raw)d and when she pointed it out she got a blank stare from thewaitress combined with a shrug and ?well that happens sometimes? ( no offer to correct it). It took 15 minutes before my ribsfinally came out (excuse 'they be busy back there') - the special bbq sauce apparently meant "we take catsup and mix in someHeinz 57 '' French fries appeared to from a bag of frozen fries, soggy. There is nothing positive to say about this placeother than we did not get a food born illness from eating there. I have no idea how people give good revies for this place -unless their palates have been destroyed by eating here or their idea of a 'steak house' is a Sagebrush and upscale is going toApplebees. The decor is ?homey? meaning it resembles something salvaged from a 3rd rate greasy spoon roadside dinner about1955, after the stuff lay in the rain for a week. If this place ever appeared on Restaurant Rescue the only way to save itwould be to burn it down and start over? as matter of fact, nuke it from orbit , it is the only way to be sure. Read more

Fabulous ribs, reasonable prices, indifferent waitstaff, clean bathroom ?about as good as it gets these days????
We shared a large Heinz 57 pizza and a Antipasto salad. The Italian dressing was the best ever!!! The food was incredible! Can't... wait to go back and try the steaks! Yummy! Read more
ANNE was an amazing server! My friends had never been to this place, where I've been going for 47 years, and they did not... disappoint!! Everything that we ordered was absolutely PERFECT and I'm so glad that they are open again after a long spellwithout being able to enjoy this amazing cuisine! Our server ANNE was absolutely perfect!! We were celebrating one of ourfriends here and she knew the best balance of when to approach us and when to lay back. The only complaint that we had is wewere harassed by the China Grove police department in the parking lot for no reason. Seemed like racism to me, but who knows??(My friend is African American)....Anyway, all in all in all it was an AMAZING evening and we are THANKFUL For great food andGREAT SERVICE Read more
Terrible experience!!!! 2 couples were seated 30 minutes after arrival, one couple ordered a rack of ribs which was cold, no... flavor, and covered in an inch of Barbecue sauce. The second couple ordered spaghetti and Lasagna which was cold and served 30minutes after the 1st couples. The waitress never refilled our water glass. What a waste of time and money ???? Read more
A small place, warm and cozy. The place is usually packed, or completely empty. There's no gray area. The restaurant has lots of... options: seafood, burgers, steaks, salads, ribs and pastas that rival fast-italian joints such as Olive Garden. I started eatinghere about 3 years ago with my dad and his ex. The food is very well made but if it's packed, the food takes a bit to arrive (aswith any restaurant.) The picture of the food shown is the half-rack of ribs with grilled shrimp, onion rings and salad, (Thesalad came before the entree as sort of an appetizer, so no picture. They're some of the best salads, ever.) Funny story, we hadheard a meowing sound coming from under our hood, turns out it was a pretty black cat in our engine bay lol! Read more
I haven't eaten here in awhile but the lasagna was very good and a generous portion, good service also
