Cabins are basic but the price is really good. Nonstop hot water showers in cabins. Nice kitchen. 2 bedrooms separated by... bathroom in the middle. Lots of dock space for boats. The restaurant is fantastic full of baked treats and homemade food. Wedidn\'t catch many fish but that\'s nothing to do with this beautiful resort. Read more

Remote and rustic, yet with all the comforts of home :) Our 2 br cabin (Pelican View) had everything we needed and more, even... comfy padded rockers on the covered porch !:) Stunning scenery, great fishing, and incredible food when you feel like a treat.We hadn\'t been home a day, when we booked our next trip within a couple of months. Overall the cabin was great. Had supper one night, was ok, nothing to wright home about. Also had a couple of sandwiches made ... for our lunch also ok. Location is great. Has to have been the noisiest bed I\'ve ever slept on, but it was comfortable. Allsaid I\'d stay again, pretty good value for the cost. Read more

Food was very good too, had a delicious milkshake and chocolate cake.\n\nAfter visiting the... two resorts at puntzi lake, I can confidently say the woodlands fishing resort has much nicer owners and food, compared to thathorrible and rude Barneys lakeside resort. We have spent three summer camping trips at Woodlands Resort and have had a fabulous time each trip. Best of all we enjoyed the... friendliness of the owners and hosts, Colleen and Al . They went out of their way to make each holiday a memorable one.\nWeenjoyed full hook ups including internet access for a very reasonable price. The sites are large and well kept.\nPuntzi Lake isa good place to fish for Kokanee and trout. Watching the pelicans fly overhead when in the middle of the lake in our boat is aspecial treat.\nThe restaurant facility is an added bonus for those wanting freshly baked goodies.\nWe will return next summerand as many summers after that as we can. Wouldn\'t miss that fishing derby which ,incidentally, will be sponsored by Woodlandsin 2021!\nCan\'t think of a better place to go camping, fishing, and relaxing. Read more

Amazing resort! The owners are so helpful and very friendly. We really enjoyed our camping trip up here. The lake boasts a lot... of wildlife, ducks, loons, pelicans and plenty of fish. The on site bakery and restaurant is a really nice treat. One of themost peaceful places I\'ve ever been, and we will be back next year! Read more

Beautiful spot! The food was delicious with a gluten free option. My daughter\'s hamburger even had a homemade bun! Lovely... screened in patio allowed for a tremendous view of the pelicans, loons, and coots on Puntzi Lake. Excellent, friendly service!The frozen coffee treats were refreshing! Excellent fishing resort to stay at on your way to and from Bella Coola. Hosts were very friendly. Prices more than reasonable.... Pelicans, Loons and Eagles can be viewed from the cabin patio. Very peaceful and relaxing. Can strongly recommend this propertyfor an overnight stay or a getaway for a week. Our cabin was a bit on the small side but cozy and adequate. A bit off thehighway but well worth the 15 minute drive. Read more
