I ordered a BLT on Rye and I thought it was pricy for only getting a sandwich but no side or drink. It had an excessive amount... of bacon (yes, there is such a thing as too much bacon, it's about balance) but only a sliver of tomato and lettuce, and hardlyany mayo. It appeared to be popular with the locals as it was a busy place. The atmosphere is casual, self service. You orderyour food at the counter and it comes in a basket, think Panera, its like that. I had the veggie burger and a garden salad. All the food was fresh and tasted amazing. The lady taking our order was friendly... and helpful. They have a great deal of healthy options. Not exactly a true dine in restaurant, but a good spot for a quickhealthy lunch. If I'm ever in Chiefland, I'll likely stop at this hidden gem. Read more

I always try to try something new here. Today, the stuffed tomato. It?s like a salad and the great thing about it is that you... can be 100% certain you are getting a whole tomato which is important and exactly what I needed today. And yes, it was a lotprettier before I started messing about in it! Not that it even matters because this is so fresh, so clean and exactly what mytastebuds and body need.
