Reviews for Bett's Big T Restaurant in Chiefland, FL
What a lovely restaurant and they were so nice towards my little ferrets! As long as I kept them in their carrier, they were... greeted like family! Thank you guys for letting them in! They certainly appreciated it just as much as I did! I'm glad thisrestaurant allows little ones in as long as they are handled properly. Makes people like me feel very welcome! Read more
Prices are good but the quality of the food is poor. For instance, they use canned peaches in their cobbler which made it too... sweet and the crumble was mixed into the cobbler. I asked for unsweetened tea and got sweet tea. They were out of the meat forthe dish I ordered. I was surprised fried okra was not a staple menu item. Did not get bread with our meal. Read more

The food is wonderful, the portions are wonderful and the service has been wonderful. Bothbreakfast and lunch are wonderful! We?ve been in town not even a week and have eaten here 3x with plans to eat here a lot more. Thank you Big T for an amazing restaurant!! Read more
The sign out front is dated and easy to miss as is the building. Have been by the restaurant many times before and never noticed... it. Glad I looked up a place to eat breakfast on maps and found this little beauty. Prices seemed reasonable but turned out tobe a bargain. Helpings are huge. Food was very good. Recommend the Sausage Gravey and Biscuits. Can't yet comment on the othermenu items, but I'm going back to give some of them a try. Read more
We were looking for a local diner type restaurant. Stopped here on a whim while traveling the way south. The place was not what... we expected, dinghy and old, but had quite a few cars parked so decided to give it a try. We were greeted by a friendly waitstaff and seated ourselves. There is only one bathroom which wasn't my preference, but it was clean. It was obvious this was thelocal go-to for blue plate specials for locals and had daily specials of turkey, pork roast and chicken. We opted for the darkmeat chicken which came with a choice of 3 sides. The meal was hot, but you could tell the chicken had been sitting and notcrispy as anticipated. Sides were plentiful and average. I had mashed potatoes, black-eyed peas and banana pudding. I did noticeas leaving a local customer had about 1/2 a whole chicken while we only were served 2 pieces. Maybe because we ordered all dark? All in all the service was great, quick and friendly. I wish I'd ordered the turkey which seemed to be a popular better choiceof several customers. If you're looking for country style food and dining experience give it a try. Read more
