Have to see to believe. It seems like the restaurant was divided into sections and handed off to different designers who were... challenged with coming up with opposing ideas. The women's restroom inside is a garish attempt at plastic pop art, while thewomen's restroom outside has no ventilation and is essentially a dull box. The patio continues the chaos with tables that limitmovement (not wheelchair friendly), a massive bar that is overly lit with LEDs (not good for epileptics), music loud enough tooverpower loud conversation, and finally a televion squatting in the corner that is so difficult to avoid being blinded by withcommercials because they just play whatever channels they want to on it. Sports, the Bachelor, you name it. As for the food, well, they raised the prices but not the quality. The food is good, but each dish just barely misses being great. Pictured isthe salmon bowl with stir fry veggies, rice and fried jalapeños: the peppers were dry as bones, the rice dry and flavor less, and the vegetables were oily. I would have liked to mix it up a bit to try and spread the flavors around, but the trendy bowlprevented that. Also pictures are the brisket tacos; the brisket was in very small chunks, and not cooked like any brisket Ihave ever had. It resembled cat food. But the flavor was nice. The waitress was kind and courteous, but mostly non existantbecause, as she informed us, there was a large party that was seated before us so she could not take care of us and advised usto "get your orders in as soon as possible!" This review based off the bone-in ribeye and blackened chicken quesadilla. tl;dr Don?t get steak or salmon here, get tacos and... drinks. The quesadilla had a perfect crust, not too greasy. Just the right amount of golden brown and crunch. The ingredientswere balanced. It came with two sauces that were great. 10/10 The bone-in ribeye was pretty lacking. At $60 was not worth it.It was thin, very unevenly cooked, and I can?t imagine there was much marbling because it felt and tasted more like an ApplebeesNY strip steak than a $60 ribeye. Like a typical USDA choice cut you could find at the grocery store. I imagine the cook did thebest he could as the sear on it was ideal, the cut of meat was just poor. There was a ton of chewy fat. It claims it wasdry-aged for 21 days but I did not taste any of that dry-age flavor. It came with a ?cowboy butter? that didn?t really add anyflavor. My partner had salmon (not pictured) and it was pretty bland. Overall, stay away from the entrees section. Go for thetacos and drinks. They should not be serving steak here. Read more
