This location has had great customer service both times I came here recently. At first getting our order was a little rocky but... we were patient because the employees were doing their best. The tenders are wonderful. If your ordering a meal for your family think twice! Double check and expect to wait Atleast a... hour...The experience we had was horrific. We ordered a family meal plush a few other things. We knew there would be a wait.about 30min later Someone came out saying how sorry they were they had a shift change and wasn?t informed... then 25/30 minlater they come out saying they got busy and they were packing the order right now they threw in a few extras and they weresorry. ordered at @ about 4 she handed it to us at 5:05. we realized we were missing food, everything but the chicken was cold,the pies couldn?t eat them and nothing extra (didn?t care at this point) called and The manager (sage) if that was her name wasvery smug that like fake nice I don?t care at all nothing I can do sorry for your wait. A million excuses (4 honestly) as to whyit happened but that was unacceptable if you spend any money especially a lot they should have a certain level of urgency. I getbusy but there wasn?t a line. I would rate lower if the food has tasted awful but the amount of times I have not gotten my order correctly is frankly amazing.... Perhaps I have awful luck but to have gotten cheated on my order over 3 times... I'm done. Read more
No drive through. Quality is inconsistent. This time it was good. The last time,chicken tenders were dry and chewy. More... breading than chicken. Chicken pieces were also dry. Like they sat under the heat lamp to long. Frys were cold. Was already hometo return ? Read more
Went for a quick bite. Tried the blackened chicken tenders for the first time. It was not bad. It was for sure different and... good. But I myself think I'd prefer the spicy crispy tenders instead. The rest of the meal was great. They have caffeine freediet coke! Read more
Every time I go to Popeyes in Chico California, I'm reminded why I hate to go to Popeyes. The Chico store is notorious for bait... and switch advertising. In the past they advertised 'ghost pepper chicken wings'. I had purchased some (2 or 3times) andcommented to the worker that they weren't very spicy, as I had expected ghost pepper to be. She stated that they had changedvendors and couldn't get ghost pepper seasoning. The "ghost pepper" wings were just the regular spicy wings despite in store andoutside signage touting ghost pepper. Today, I ordered the "red stick combo". Even though the in-store advertisement show aphoto of a soda with the combo, I was told the soda was extra. When I got the order the red sticks were tiny. Not your small,but super small...and most of that was batter. Very little of that was chicken. See photos. I won't go back to the Chicolocation, until next time I do. And I'm sure to be disappointed.
