La Cocina was excellent! We have eaten here many times before and love it! Fish taco plate and Shrimp taco plates are very... delicious. Generous helpings of tacos, beans and rice. Great Salsa and chips!! Very affordable for what you get! Recommend thisrestaurant to everyone! Read more

It is like a taco truck, but with a Mexican Jail ambience (cinder block walls, barred windows, etc). There are only 2... off-street parking spots (both taken by staff, I suspect). Food was OK, but the service was non-existent. It is basicallytake-out with a couple of tables and a cashier who sighs with exasperation whenever job duties tear her away from Tinder. For areal good time, ask for a glass of ice water! I really hate places that ask for a tip before getting your food (or service). What exactly am I tipping for? I'm filling my own drink, picking up my own food from the window, and bussing my own Styrofoamdishes... Be sure to visit the latrine for the authentic Tijuana experience. Read more
