Strawberry orange juice was amazing! I also got the ham, eggs & potatoes. I would've liked my potatoes to be a bit more crunchy... (rather than soft), but I truly enjoyed the meal. It's been quite a while since we've been to Yolk, and it's good to see they've remained consistent. The service was great. Our... server even let us order our coffees with the expectation that we could get something else if we didn't like them. Food wasquite tasty, but the pancakes were a little dry. We came here at 10 on a Sunday morning. It seemed busy but the service was fast. There was no wait but as we were eating ~10:30,... more and more people came and it seemed like there was a queue. We got a countryside skillet and a good morning burger. Theskillet comes with sausage, potato, bell peppers, bacon, eggs, and sausage gravy. We had the English muffin as the side. It wassavory and filling. The patty in the burger was tender, juicy, and thick but somewhat greasy. Long wait time. Had to wait outside in the cold ???? waitress was very nice, however, she was not very attentive and it felt... like she forgot about our table at times. Coffee came out cold. Breakfast was pretty cold as well. French toast was delicious.Bacon was also delicious. I know this is a personal preference but I cannot stand when my savory foods touch or on the sameplate as sweet food. Bad combination in my opinion. Usually pancakes or French toast are on a separate plate. Overall, the foodwas good. Just cold. Might try it out again when in Chicago. Read more
