It was okay. Funny mildew/dirty mop smell at booth. I had the Eggs Benedict. I substituted crispy bacon for Canadian bacon-bacon... was good. Hollandaise was watery and had too much lemon. I had the breakfast potatoes. I did not enjoy those. Taste like theyare from frozen. My companion had the French Toast. Large portion was served with syrup and powdered sugar. She enjoyed it. Update Sep-2021: My wife and I have become regulars at Yolk Lakeview. The service and food quality hold up every time. I would... rate them 6 stars without a doubt! Ate here twice in a row because we loved it so much! The breakfast mac and cheese was gooey and delicious, the French toast was... also sweet and delicious. The second day I had the eggs bennie capreese which was also super yummy. Read more
As an introvert, this isn't a place I can see myself dining in at because of how busy and openly spaced this particular location... is, but the food is really good. I got the steak and eggs, and the steak was great, a tiny bit tough in the medallion part. Thepancakes were just okay. I was really excited for them but they have a weird side taste that's almost a bit like somethingthat's sugar free or artificially flavored. Also I got over-medium eggs and one was already broken in the to go container. Thestaff is extremely kind though, and obviously trying their best considering how busy this location seems to be. I had this place all wrong! We used to order from Doordash and we thought it wasn't very good, but it's a much nicer experience... in person. My son and I had the strawberry-orange juice, the salted caramel latte, and the all star special. I was a littledisappointed it didn't come with hashbrowns, but it was still a tremendous amount of food-they have great sausage and bacon. Thelatte was a little on the sweet side for my taste, but still really good! Severs were also super nice. Definitely coming back. Read more
Anthony at Yolk Lakeview was a fantastic server and local host. He was attentive and helped us choose things from the menu which... were truly unique and delicious. We enjoyed our visit very much. We can recommend the breakfast burrito (both with and withoutchorizo), breakfast potatoes, and the eggs Benedict. We also enjoyed the chocolate chip pancake. The lattes, and Matcha weredelicious. Tbh, bad quality food. Waffles seemed like egos. Fried chicken was below par. Mac and cheese was decent. Chicken tenders where... very bad. Potatoes where dreadful. Wouldn’t recommend to a friend or family member. Expensive for the quality of food.Disappointed tbh. Won’t be returning Read more
