My mom introduced me to this place about two months ago and we?ve gone a couple times w my 3 year old son. The waitresses are... always so friendly and the cooks make consistently good, comfort food. Cash only diner and I?ve only ever gotten as far as the corned beef hash on the menu. Can?t bring myself to try anything else... when the hash is so good. It?s obviously homemade corned beef in a homemade hash and their house hot sauce is mmm mmm perfect.They should bottle and sell that stuff I?d buy a few bottles for sure! Read more
This is one of the true hidden gems of Chicago! A true old school Diner. Glad that I bought a house near here and discovered... it. Friendly staff and truly incredible food. 6/2022 5* I TOTALLY recommend this place! Found the place clean, and super friendly. Small and quaint. Lots of "regulars"... stopping in. Was like watching a happy family interact. Was busy, but not too busy. Food was cooked fresh and too order. Hadweekend specials. I got the "Chicago Breakfast" for $9.99. Good deal, good food, good atmosphere. Totally worth it! Thestaff was so friendly it was crazy. I loved it! Always saying Thank you and things like that. It was awesome! Next time I amaround, I will stop back in. Try something new. Read more
I've been here in the past. I was going to get breakfast this morning and they had a sign up waiting "cash only". That was... unfortunate, I thought that would have changed by now. Do people still carry cash? Sad, I really wanted to try them again as itwas good food in the past. Please, start taking credit cards or at least tap and pay. Read more
