Visited this establishment at the suggestion of my daughter. The whole experience was excellent. We had a reservation and were... promptly seated when we arrived. The hosts were warm and welcoming. I was assisted by the sommelier in selecting a wine toaccompany the shecrab soup I ordered as an appetizer.. I have to admit that I didn't know what to ask. They were attractive sothat made it harder. Ha! The wine selected paired wonderfully! I loved that each course was spaced out beautifully. Our tablewas promptly cleared of any dishes and our glasses were well maintained with drinks. The one service misstep was when the waterattendant did not ask if more water was wanted and refilled a glass that has sparkling water. The server promptly corrected thematter and the experience restored. I highly recommend visiting when you're in the area. Anita was fantastic and if you havethe opportunity to be served by her, tip her well! She deserves it. Read more

Spent my birthday dinner at Yardbird. Food quality matched what I had at their Last Vegas location. Chicken and Waffles are the... best I've had. Read more

The food here was amazing. The service was also great. However, the waitress "checked" in a lot and was a little pushy. The... lemon meringue pancakes were amazing. Read more

Aesthetically pleasing and great atmosphere. This new addition to the River North dining scene replaced P.F. Chang's. While... they've changed the interior, they've retained the price points. The prices are surprisingly high for what is being served. Thefried chicken is fine, but I don't think it ranks high enough against other chicken in the city to warrant the price. The menusetup and portions are definitely for sharing, but it's still the level of steakhouse prices for chicken. Also, there are barelyany options for a person that just wants to nibble on something with a few drinks. It would be great if they had at leasttheir interpretation of some bar snacks and drink options under $15. A nice place with great staff, but if I'm going to shellout that type of money, I will go somewhere like Maple & Ash. Read more

Decor: sleek and spacious. It's very inviting Staff: polite and knowledgeable. They are working their kinks out in service... (i.e., forgot to give us cutlery, napkins, the sauce to my chicken) Food: diverse menu with beautiful plating. Try the finefries chicken, skip the Mac and cheese (too salty) Cocktails: strong selection on bourbon and a delicious espresso martini(protip: get it with mezcal) Read more

Ahh! This used to be P.F. Chang's, remember that? This is the first location in the state. This is upscale Southern food at it's... best. Had Lamb Chops, Meatball w/ Focaccia bread, Deviled Eggs, Mac 'n Cheese, Hummus w/ Veggies, Chicken w/ Mayor lemon &cilantro. For the cocktails I had The Passionate Tequila, Blackberry Bourbon Lemonade & Yardbird Old Fashioned. Staff andservice is excellent. Read more
