I haven’t been to Wishbone in years due to an unforgettable bad experience. However new location, new people, and was told... food is good. Went for brunch & glad I did. Deliciously cooked Shrimp and grits, Cajun omelette, home fries, biscuit with goodcoffee. Hector and Yvette's customer service added to a great experience. Thanks Read more

I was in town 2 days ago and ate at Wishbone. It was my second time here as I ran across this place last month while in town.... What a gem! The food was fantastic both times???? I had blackened trout, Collards, macaroni and cheese and red beans and rice!Everything was seasoned to perfection! My husband exclaimed over the French toast! Our server Nicole was very nice andattentive! One of our new favs while in town!! Read more

Great foods and service. The Cajun shrimp & cheese grits is amazing. I'm not a grits person but will order again. The jambalaya... is good but will try the etouffee next time. Read more

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the city. The food was so good and the customer service was amazing. It has a nice... family vibe but since they serve alcohol it can turn into a brunch party later in the mornings. Wait time can be over the top soI’d recommend always going early. Read more

Wishbone started in the West Loop long, long before most other places that exist in the area today, and they used to have other... locations. Their current West Loop location is newer and it's now the only one. This Cajun inspired restaurant has greatbreakfast dishes like a Jambalaya Omelet and Crunchy French Toast (that is crunchy and delicious). Sides and a corn muffin comewith most dishes and you've got a choice of cheesy grits, collard greens, and a number of other southern style sides. There's afull bar and a fun, mostly fruity, specialty drink list. They keep the coffee coming, service has always been good, and the menuoffers breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The only downside is that the dining room is pretty noisy and often has large groups. Read more

Small restaurant with really good vibes especially for a nice brunch. The wait during weekends is pretty long but totally worth... it. We had quite a few dishes and the stand out was the shrimp and grits. I would highly recommend this restaurant. They hadpretty good mimosas too! Read more

Went almost everyday during my trip to Chicago in October. Very friendly staff , good food, and in a good location in the loop.... I tried the Cajun shrimp and grits, the catfish, regular breakfast platter with turkey bacon. The food is sooooo good ! 4 starsinstead of 5 because of the mimosas. They all tasted fine but they don’t fill the glass up. I mentioned this to the staff andthey said it’s the “Midwest” way but proceeded to fill the persons glass next to me all the way up . Would definitely goback and I have recommended this place to others Read more
