Great Day for A brunch date. The service was impressive. Our server's name was Ivory. She was a delight and knew when to come... by us. The food was fresh and hot, flavorful without a lot of additives. The Corn Cakes are very good with just the rightamount of crisp on the edges. If you would like pure syurp, it is available for a nominal charge. The reg. Syrup is of coursesided with your order. The place is decorated very nicely and is spacious and well thought out. This is a great restaurant for vegetarians as they have quite a few options. I loved Wishbone and had cravings for certain... dishes but I gave it 4 stars because I thought the quality control was slipping. For example. I had amazing cheese grits there but a month later, they were just ok. My favorite meals are the turkey dinner, your family Thanksgiving dinner once a week. andthe salmon cakes are the best I have ever had. You always have a choice of sides, which is great. Generally great food and service. I have been here for breakfast many times. Fresh eggs, delicious 3 egg omelets, ham off the... bone. Southern (New Orleans) flair. I recommend the cheese grits and black beans . Gluten free muffin is good too. Not that Igenerally like anything g-free. Read more
The food here is always amazing! Service is usually excellent, which is a rarity in Chicago. I cannot recommend Wishbone enough.... You have to get the sandwich. Read more
