The staff was great and the food was prefect.
The ONLY reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because my fries weren't cooked the way I ordered them. But other than that, our... experience there was amazing. The house made soup was great. The burger was cooked to perfection. The service was awesome. Iwould say I'd go back, but the next time I'm in Chicago, I want to go to different places. So, I will HIGHLY RECOMMEND. You know when the food is so nasty you have to leave a review? This is it. I couldn’t even finish it & I was starving before I... came in. Got chicken & waffles & I’ve honestly never tasted fried chicken that unseasoned in my life. The waffle was pathetic& bland. Even the gravy was bland. On top of that the music … like what you like but to play hard metal music during brunch ona Sunday was reason enough never to come back. The waitress seemed either drunk or hungover. The chicken here is barely edible. It’s advertised as fried when it’s microwaved and not fresh. I was worried it would make... me sick so I didn’t even eat it. Waitress asked me if I wanted a box instead of asking if I liked it. I didn’t say anythingand regret not. Paid and left. Will not be back here. My husbands cuban was gross as well. Excellent experience during this Holiday week. The bar was pretty packed, however, the staff was extremely friendly, helpful and... alert. I had the cod tacos and the garlic fries, and the food came out very quickly and hot. The sauce that accompanied thetacos was extremely good, and the fries were very well seasoned.
