This place is fantastic! The food is always top notch and the service is professional and friendly. Some of my favorite items... include the garlic bread served a spicy marinara sauce, the Caesar salad, Grigliato Misto, zuppe di Mare, Brickhouse chickenvesuvius, chicken parmesan.. Playlist was awesome. It was our server's first day; she crushed it! Solid portions. Seabass was on the specials list. Overall... ok. I enjoyed the crunch (charred edges) and flakey inside. Be sure to triple check your bill!! During a recent visit to the establishment, a girlfriend and I should have been more... diligent in asking for an itemized check (we did not get one) and looking it over. Unfortunately, we weren't paying close enoughattention and accidentally paid for another patrons more expensive meal. When returning the next day to explain, we were toldthat it was our responsibility to check the bill. I agree, but it's also their responsibility to present the correct bill. Chapter two: When sharing this story recently with friends at East Bank, one friend had their own story about the place. Her andher boyfriend ordered a $70 bottle of wine and the server suggested they get a similar but better bottle and they agreed. Oncethey got the bill, they saw that the suggested bottle was $200. In hind sight, they should have asked the price, but they neverwould have thought the suggestion would be so much more than what they ordered. When they complained they were treated as rudelyas we were. The restaurant's short-term gains have cost them a few long-term customers. It's too bad that one of ourneighborhood spots is no longer a viable option. Stick with Gene and Georgetti's! Read more
