Real authentic South Indian dining experience, food-wise. Their sambar and idli is so good, as is the medhu vada and coconut... chutney. But the show stealers here are the masala dosas which were light and flavourful and everything I was looking for. Read more

A decent vegetarian breakfast place in Devon Street, Chicago. The service was good and the food was interesting. I felt like I... missed the authentic taste but it was fine on the whole. Definitely worth giving it a shot. I'd give this a solid 3.5. Read more

Service was good but the food was not that great. We went there for brunch and mostly ordered breakfast items. Some of them were... not cooked well and some were just tasteless. We liked the chollee bhature though. Read more

Visited last month and was overwhelmed by the hospitality and the food so thought I should put up a review. The food, the... interiors, the staff, the music, everything feels authentic here. Although we were late for the Lunch but were still servedhumbly with the Lunch menu. Things we tried were Rava masala and Rava plain dosa along with a Thali. Both the dosas were crispyand delicious. Can’t say enough for the Thali as every single dish in it was top notch, never had so authentic indian flavorsabroad. Also had Idly and Vada with sambar, which were simply authentic and exactly what I wanted. Keep it up Udupi crew! Willsurly visit every time I am in Devon. Highly recommend place to visit with your Family or Friends if you happen to be in theneighborhood ! Read more

Some delicious items, and some were just alright. Pongal was amazing, fresh, good consistency. Onion chili uttapam, was good but... instead of chili they used jalapeno, disappointing. Mysore masala was ok, not that great. Sambar and coconut chutney were goodbut I missed having the tomato or ginger chutney to go with the dosas. Also got the Ras Malai, which was rubbery, so I'd avoidthat. Read more

Good, well- price food. Some servers are nice, but they seem to be the kitchen staff that come to give you food. The main... waiters are kinda rude and never came back to check to even refill water. Read more

Opens at 11 officially but food is only ready by 11.30. Overall it was good, not to crowded. We got Mysore masala Dosa, sambhar... wada, coffee and tea. The wada was not crisp and sambhar a little oily. But food tasted good. Good breakfast place is near Devonstreet. Read more
