the place is packed but you get seated quickly. bottomless coffee and good mimosas. i didn?t think the hollandaise was... exceptional but i would come back to try something else! great staff. oh! and i don?t know if this is usual, but they gave us alittle slice of apple spice cake to munch on while we looked at the menu. The French toast was absolutely incredible. Easily the best I've ever had. The coffee cake you get at the table is also so good.... And our waiter was hilarious! The absolute friendliest staff! Brunch was delicious and the drinks were some of the best I?ve ever had. Lots of intentional... options for gluten free folks along with accommodating other dietary needs. And the atmosphere was one that was welcoming andinclusive. Love to see it! Read more

We were visiting Chicago from Pittsburgh and looking for a good brunch spot. This is one of the mostenchanting breakfast joints I?ve been to?and that?s saying something. We went on a Thursday afternoon (brunch time) and itwasn?t busy. Perfect! We were sat quickly with a small dish of chocolate chip coffee cake, a sweet touch. The waiter was funand bubbly, while being informative and helpful. He kindly answered all of our questions, even with a few ?dad jokes? thrownin. My favorite! He was masked, which was much appreciated. We started with water and coffee. These were filled consistently andthe coffee was great! Off to a great start? I had the French Toast with syrup and a side of Chicken Sausage. My friend got thestandard breakfast (eggs, meat, potato, etc.). The portions were big and filling?the value was great for the price. The FrenchToast was phenomenal: fluffy, perfectly browned and dusted with powdered sugar. AND it was served with good maple syrup, not theflavorless sugar water you find at some places. Meals were served with a fresh fruit cup and it was good too, not mushy andoverripe. Everyone enjoyed their food. As a visitor to the city, I?d recommend this spot to anyone coming through. Arguably one of the best breakfast joints in the city. Their menu is extensive, diverse and delicious. A wide array of omelette... and Mexican items are particularly good but you can?t go wrong with pancakes either. Their service is exceptional and attentive.I?ve gone to this place dozens of times throughout the past decade and they have never disappointed. Highly highly recommended. Read more
We live in MN and our friends brought us here for breakfast, and just wow. Everything was perfection. The service was beyond... wonderful, the staff was SO friendly and attentive. Loved the menu. The food was incredible. The steak burrito and omelette werephenomenal and have us wanting to come back for them again before we leave town. I adore how they brought out a gorgeouslycolorful coupe of fresh fruit before the rest of the meal. I loved how they bring a little carafe of more of your tea/soda waterso you have an unlimited bev supply. Literally everything was amazing and I wish we had a place like this in MN! When I tell y'all that this is the BEST service I've ever received, I'm not even playing. ??long post alert?? There was a... short wait to be seated, but we were guided into the bar area where we could have a drink while waiting (super smart on theirpart!). Also, since we were closer to their closing time, one of the staff members offered us the menu so we could order beforethe kitchen closed. Super kind of her! When seated, we had the BEST waiter. I feel like he might have been manager or owner ofthe place (didn't catch his name - sorry!). Either way, he was very kind and very patient with us. My friend has a gluten anddairy free diet, and he made sure they got all of their substitutions correct - right on! ???????? Not only did I almost crywhen we got a complementary piece of cake (that was delicious!!!), but the waiter also replaced a berry that had fallen out ofmy fruit salad. I know it sounds insane, but the fact that he was attentive even to a small detail like that meant that hetruly cares about providing great service. He even gave me a to-go cup for the ice coffee I didn't finish - at nocharge! my friends and i visited tweet and absolutely love it! the staff was super sweet and it wasn?t too busy on a thursday afternoon.... i ordered the veggie busicuits and gravy and it was great. my friend ordered a vanilla milk shake and it tasted like mychildhood in a cup, not to mention the super yummy coffee cake they bake in house and give when they first seat you!
