Love there French Fries after school always getting some fries from Trohas and my sister use to send me for some Fries
Not what it used to be, downsized with the menu. Back in the day the shrimp & scallops combo meal was a great & DELICIOUS... bargain. $22 for a Lbs shrimp & fries... Shrimp is still delicious and fries were super hot & fresh... a good place to eat ata pretty penny. Read more

DELICIOUS FOOD, EXCELLENT SERVICE, Truly a favorite seafood spot in the city of Chicago. My only problem with it like in most... restaurants is it is too expensive. I know most seafood places are expensive but a half-order of Shrimp whic is 6 pieces ofgiant Shrimp for $10+ it is just too much for so little. But their best and most famous dish is their Catfish fillet. I alwayscome back to Troha's but not often because of their prices. Read more
It was nothing like I expected, the people is not friendly and the food wasn't nice. The fish was fresh BUT the crusts was too... thick and flavorless, they didn'tdry it well so had excess of oil ans tastedlikeold oil... lack of personality in the food. Itwas super hot and burned my mouth, only had 2 tipes of sodas and some water bottles. The place doesn't have restrooms. The onlybench you can sit was dirty with old food scraps. Not good. I'm not going back there. The fish gave me instant accid reflux, Iguess the only thing that I liked of what I got there was the crab nuggets ???? it tasted fresh and actually tasted likecrab... other than that, it wasn't a good experience ???? maybe the coleslaw salard was somehow good. I grew up with this place and haven't been there in a while. Just went back the other day and it's still the same. Taste great,... juicy pieces. You can't go wrong and shouldn't go anywhere else but here. You won't leave disappointed. And Chicago's Besttelevision show was there to show how good it was. Read more

Used to go here when I was younger for the fries. They changed them and serve a lot less than before. Also they overcharge for... everything and tastes pretty bland now. Can't believe I ordered this ?full order? of shrimp for almost $20. Firehouse Grill isbetter on Roosevelt, they got bigger pieces for less. Read more
