Great food, nice ambience, and BYOB! What more can you ask for?

What can I say? This place is amazing. The restaurant is very small and intimate which lends to ambiance. the food is absolutely... lovely and they have a continuously changing menu of seasonal specialties. They are a byob establishment which allows for a funwine dinner with friends. I left happy and full. I wish I lived in Chicago so I could make regular stops at this lovely place! Read more

2 soups, 2 pasta dishes, 7$ corkage fee = $115 after tip. The soup, Lobster bisque, tasted more like tuna bisque and had an... almost chalk like texture to it. My wife had the Ravioli, king crab, sun-dried tomatoes, saffron cream sauce. The sauce had noflavor, It tasted like tap water When I tasted one of her raviolis there was a nice chunk of shell in it. The Gnocchi with shortrib was actually pretty good which is why they got an extra star out of me. Service was sub-par. Even the music was off putting.I can think of 100 situations when I would want to hear Queen's "we will rock you", Dinner at an Italian restaurant onValentines day is not one of them. Go spend your money at Via Carducci La Sorella, Piccolo Sogno, or La Scarola. Did I mentionthis place is cash only? Read more

Came for dinner based on lovely reviews and suggestions. There were multiple open tables and no one was waiting to be seated.... The host sat me. After being pointed water and waiting some time for a server I was told that they were only seatingreservations. So I left. Without food. Worst dining experience ever. The manager didn?t even come to apologize. Read more

Five star for the quality of food, attentive and informative service and BYOB policy. However, being cash only and upscale... pricing make it a bit inconvenient. One of the best hidden gems of the city. Read more
